Hooray for Mermay! I’m fascinated by sharks and I adore mermaids. So shark merpeople is defiantly an idea I can get behind.
@stickermule Thank you guys for making my stickers! 💗👌🏻 #stickers #stickermule #halloween #breathofthewild #koroks
So happy to be an artist in this zine! 😊
Unleash The Chaos, our Good Omens zine focused around Crowley’s hi-vis jacket (aka The F*ck-Shit-Up Jacket) is officially on it’s way!
Here is the list of our wonderful, chaotic contributors, who are working hard to wreak havoc!
I too was helped out of a rut with drawing due to Good Omens! It really has helped me fight my depression and battle with my self confidence. ☺️
I also have joined a few discords myself, but also struggle with the anxiety and shyness, but have made some new friends because of it!
It warms my heart to see that Good Omens has helped others the same way that it has helped me. 💖
Thank you to Terry Pratchett and @neil-gaiman for such an inspiring story!
Like many people this year, I watched Good Omens and was instantly smitten and inspired. I had read the book when I was in college, but for some reason it didn’t grab me the way the TV series did. Before watching GO, I was in a creative rut. I’d finished my first year as a teacher and it was such a demanding and stressful experience that my art was left to languish. I barely drew at all until August of this year.
But watching Good Omens in July made me want to start drawing again. As you can see, I was super productive in August! I cranked out those six pieces in about three weeks, which for me is mind-boggling. This chart isn’t even including all the WIPs I’ve posted, fanart of other fics, coloring of other artists’ lineart, and my Big Bang pieces.
This story pulled me out of a rut I thought I’d never get out of. I honestly thought I might never draw again, and was fighting deep depression over it. And on top of my burst of inspiration, I found a miraculous fandom that has been so encouraging and welcoming, full of warm people who are so kind and genuine. I’ve joined multiple Discords, am participating in a Big Bang, and slowly starting to open up to people. I don’t chat on Discord as much as I wish I did, but I’m working on it! I’m still shy and anxious at heart.
Anyway, I just want to say thank you to @neil-gaiman and Terry Pratchett for such a beautiful story and I want to thank this fandom for being radically kind. Here’s to the next year, everyone.

May is officially over, but the Good Omens Celebration is still going!
After such an amazing response we’re going to be reblogging things for some time to come. So feel free to keep posting and participating. We’ll be continuing to watch the tags and keep the Archive of Our Own collection open.
We hope that everyone enjoyed the Celebration and we’d love to hear what folks thought of the event or if there is interest to make this an annual Celebration.
Inktober dice roll day 2, Water Warrior with Fangs. Hence anthro saber tooth tiger (Tigers love water). #inktober2016 #inktober #ink #tigerwarrior
This is really motivating to me as well because I’ve been struggling with the same issue.
“Aw man, someone beat me to that and it looks so good...I don’t want to seem like I’m copying...mine won’t look as good anyways...”
But then you really do have to remind yourself that it’s OK! In the long run it defiantly does just give us more smooch pictures that I never get tired of seeing. 🥰 Plus, we’re all being inspired by someone else’s work to begin with, Terry and Neil’s.
And if that helps us grow as artists, that’s wonderful!
(Also comparing yourself to others and feeling like you’re not good enough really puts a damper on your own progress. 😖)
sometimes the most difficult thing about drawing in the GO fandom is navigating if you’re about to accidentally draw something someone has already drawn. (as time passes, it’s grown ever harder…)
I know tbh it doesn’t matter in the long term, but it’s a big reason I subconsciously end up not drawing a bunch of things. (Unless I want to do it so much I manage to power through and draw it anyway…)
The other thing is repeating myself from the spiritassassin Fandom. ^^;;
#SWFarFromHome is my own little creative challenge to Star Wars fans who may be interested!
"Through some twist of fate, be it science-gone-wrong or the Will of The Force, you’ve been swept away from home and into the Star Wars universe! Where do you find yourself? Wearing and holding what? Has either awe or fear set in? You decide!"
Using whatever creative media you wish, tell us how this scenario would go for you! Writing, drawing, picrew/dollmakers are all welcome! Have fun with the prompt and be as creative as you wish! If you maybe feel uncomfortable sharing your face, feel free to use a substitute, like a modern OC or a stand in!
Be indulgent! Enjoy!
Let others be indulgent too!
I hope you have fun!! Please use the hashtag above, and tag me if you can so I can see what you make!! The next installment will be out next month! 💕💖
Last pictures are because I'm super happy with how this background study turned out!! And some WIPs! 🤲💖
Also, if anyone wants to be tagged for the next installment, let me know! 💖
