Can you sum up how being a Capricorn sun, Scorpio moon personality is like? I am interested in befriending this guy (non romantically) and I often wonder how he manages to be both... like one is so intense and the other is so aloof.

hello there, thank you for your question :) I most definitely see your point on how different these signs are! Scorpio is emotional, and Capricorn seems rigid and non emotional. Key word, seems. I wouldn’t describe either of these signs as aloof. These two signs work together quite nicely… I think the main thing to think about, is that Capricorn is based in the physical world. (earth) And Scorpio is based in the emotional world (water). So it’s not aloof that Capricorn is, it’s physical, tangible reality that they live in. They may be aloof to one thing… your emotions. Also know, that Capricorns are people too lol. They just don’t show all of themselves all the time as they have more “physical world” priorities. But yes, they are “less emotional” than water signs. Even so, They are extremely sentimental, loving, and love their family and people they’ve come to love and trust. Within they are some of the most truly real and caring people. It takes time and trust from a Capricorn sun to show this to you and they usually have a small amount of close trusted friends that they can “let it all hang out with”. I would say their Scorpio moon really brings out the emotion in this person. Any water sign in the moon aspect will make an earth sun sign more emotionally aware, and just more caring about what’s going on in the emotional world of others. Empathetic too. That’s really the point here, it’s not that Capricorn is choosing to be “unemotional”. It’s that they’re not operating primarily in the emotional world or on that wavelength. All of the earth signs such as Capricorn are a wonderful element, as the tangible reality Capricorn lives in is very practical and realistic. It’s based on every day actual tangible things and not emotional “ideas”.

This person most likely takes life pretty seriously as Scorpios are very serious with their emotions and Capricorns are very serious about their ambitions. This person will most likely loosen up and take things less seriously the older they get. (They say Capricorns age backwards as they’re born as old souls) <3

I would describe this person as hardworking, ambitious, practical, reliable, HARD WORKING, patient and very deeply caring. This person is very driven for success and with a Scorpio moon, they may know exactly what they want. Also they are creative, deep, loving, loves sensual and/or freaky sex, values commitment, values faithfulness, values family, values true love, values the most real of real people. Scorpio’s may forgive, but they usually don’t forget. And capricorns also highly value commitment and values. Don’t lie to this person if you want to be their friend. They really just value a true friendship that will last and is real and trustworthy.
