Because I’m a Taurus Sun, so I should know best, right?

♉️ In their mind appreciation of people, places and things is all the same! The same way they appreciate a walk in the nature, their favourite chocolate bar or sleeping in on Sundays, they appreciate their significant other or their mum.

♉️ Taurus is ruled by Venus, the sign of appreciation, what you value and how you relate to others.

♉️ The reason Cancer is referred to as “the ultimate soulmate” to Taurus is because Cancer represents the mother and Taurus the daughter in astrology. Cancer wants to spend time with Taurus and appreciate them. Taurus likes emotional safety and comfortabily, the mother (Cancer) provides for her daughter (Taurus). And Taurus appreciates spending time with people, who “provide” for them. Even if this comes in ways of comfortability, safety and security with the person.

♉️ Mars is “away” in Taurus. That’s why they procrastinate on things or are viewed as “lazy” sometimes. They have troubles properly channeling their energy into an action. But since they are not used to Mars energy, when they DO take action, they perserve. While an Aries would take their action oriented approach for granted, because they are already used to Mars energy.

♉️ Moon is exalted in Taurus. Moon represents what we are comfortable with and what we indulge in (and also where we overexhaust ourselves). So Taurus here, can overindulge in material possessions, work, relaxation, nature etc. This can happen with people, places and things. This is how Taurus can get used by others. It’s when they have to snap back and stop appreciating people, places and things as much. Because over relating exhausts them. So Taurus can be similar to Cancer in this regard.

♉️ Also Pluto is “away” in Taurus. This is why they have difficulties with transformation. And experience control issues or power struggles. But through these, Taurus discovers their true desires and wants.

♉️ This is also why they see changes and transformation people around them go through as “chaotic”, “not stable” or like they don’t have their things together. The person may come across as “unstable” to Taurus. Or like the person lost control over their life. And this doesn’t make sense to Taurus. It’s because they don’t understand this energy well due to Pluto being “away” in this sign.

♉️ The “favourite” words of Taurus could be: safety, stabilty, solid (a lot of S words), solidarity, appreciation, steady fast, perservance, stamina, durability, longevity.

♉️ Because Taurus rules 5 senses. They can really hear you and make practical sense of it. They can forget all the other noise you said to them. They can “smell” when something is wrong as well.

♉️ They really like to dance, because it just something that makes them happy. But sometimes they can be very shy about it or fear they would look stupid.

♉️ Since Taurus is a practical thinker it can appear they are quiet and reserved. But the real reason is because they are still trying to make sense of what you’re saying to them or doing in a practical sense. That’s why they might appear doubtful. This creates not being expressive. Because they are still trying to prepare how they will communicate their thoughts and how they will make sense of their thinking pattern. This is the reason why they are still quiet.

♉️ They make “a form” or like “a product” out of their images, thoughts and feelings. And they mould them into something, make them presentable before “presenting” them in a conversation.

♉️ They are not like Air or Water signs that just take emotions and thoughts and present it to you “without a shape”, just spontaneously. Taurus always goes inwards, into themselves first, before presenting anything to outer reality, public.

♉️ When they go inwards, into themselves, they are trying to make sense out of their thoughts and feelings. So that they will be in a “presentable” form when communicated to others.

♉️ That’s why Taurus (and especially Taurus Mercury) always refers back to a conversation, fact, thought or feeling. Because they are very much “retrospective” in this sense.

♉️ So Taurus knows if you did, feel, think or said something twice, you will do it again.

♉️ They are very calculated and deliberated with their words, so they don’t like to repeat themselves.

♉️ Taurus actually doesn’t want to be seen as “it is what it is”. They are practically, action oriented. So they don’t want just to have these thoughts and emotions (like Air or Water would). They have to take these thoughts and emotions from their head and transform them into money, an action, creating a product or something new. Because they are left brained, they don’t want to be seen as emotional or vulnerable.
