summary: you find your favorite rock along the river's edge, and Jasper can't help but listen to you ramble.
“Jasper,” you whisper shout to him. Your eyes are only partially open, but you still see something shining in the sunlight towards the bed of the stream. “Jas,” you urge again, this time shaking his shoulder. You aren’t sure why either of you decided it’d be a good idea to rest here, out in the forest, but it’s been some of the best sleep you’ve ever gotten.
“What is it love bug?” Jasper asks in a soft, sleepy voice. Vampires can’t sleep, but sometimes he gets so relaxed with you that he feels like he could. You yawn, stretching your back, and stand up. One second you’re looking at Jasper resting against a rock, eyes barely open and strands of blonde hair in his face, the next second he’s stood next to you with wide eyes. His vampire speed might be something you never get used to.
“I see something shining over there,” you say excitedly. You absolutely loved all things rocks and crystals, and Jasper knew that well.
“Well, let’s go look and see what it is, Sugar,” Jasper tells you with a smile. He loves to see you get excited over what you care about, and you love when he calls you those sweet nicknames. The two of you quickly make your way over to the river's age. The sun is hitting just right, and Jasper begins to sparkle just as much as the rock in his hands.
“Is that what I think it is?” you ask him happily. You watch as he rubs his thumb over it, and then holds it up to the light.
“Why yes, I do believe so,” he says with a smirk, leaning in closer to you. You laugh and gently kiss him. He places the rock in your hand and you begin to exam in it.
“Did you know this is my favorite?”
“I think you’ve mentioned it,” he says with a smile, “maybe I’ll get it made into a ring for you.” You laugh at his comments, but deep down you know that sounds amazing. “Why don’t you tell me about it?”
“Haven’t I already told you about it?” you ask genuinely. You could talk about this sort of stuff forever, but you don’t because you don’t want to annoy Jasper.
“You have told me about it, but I wanna hear it again,” he tells you as he grabs you by the waist and kisses the top of your head.
“It’s Quartzite, typically found in the mountains. It’s a metamorphic rock, meaning it’s formed by being subjected to high heat and pressure, that’s made from quartz rich sandstone. Sometimes it’s used to make kitchen countertops.”
“You sure do know your stuff, sweetheart,” he says with a smile. His southern accent is more prominent then ever when he’s calling you his sweetheart.
“You don’t mind when I ramble?”
“Darlin’, I could listen to you talk about rocks for the rest of my life, which I’d like to point out is the rest of forever.” He kisses you on the top of the head again and holds you close.
“Well, I guess you’ll be learning a lot about rocks,” you joke.
“I can’t wait,” he says, syrupy sweet.
one of my favorite moments of Twilight (2008) is when Edward just yells, “CARLIIIIIIISLE” as bella is dying idk why but that moment is SO iconic to me
Spencer Reid kisses people like he’s been starving for days and this is his first time getting to eat again
What do you mean I made a compilation of his kiss scenes? Uhh I would never????
I'm not the only one who thinks that if Jasper was human he'll have some sort of addiction, right?

“Reid?” You furrow your eyebrows at his dissociation, resisting the urge to wave your hand in front of his face as you approach him. “Spencer? Hello?”
He doesn’t turn his eyes upwards at your calls, keeping them locked on the trembling plastic lid of his take out coffee cup as he sits stationary at the round table with it cupped in his hands.
He does however give you a small hum so that you know he’s acknowledging your existence.
“Are you Okay?”
Obviously not. Spencer was probably going through the most uncomfortable day of his life. He felt like his brain was physically trying to escape from his skull and his stomach was clawing its way up his esophagus.
“I’m fine.” Spencer knew that he didn’t sound at all convincing, but he didn’t really have the mind to care at the moment. He was trying to focus on not ripping out his own eyeballs so that he could massage away his pounding headache from the inside out.
“You’re shaking,”
“I didn’t notice.” His snark isn’t something you’re used to, and it’s so out of character that you have to physically take a few seconds to check that this was indeed Spencer in front of you and not some doppelganger that had taken his place.
Him changing after the kidnapping was to be expected, he’d been through a lot of trauma that would surely impact the way he portrayed himself, but you never though that it would be this type of change.
You expected the quietness, the dissociation, even a level of defensiveness. But outright abrasiveness was something you weren’t prepared for.
“Do you want to talk about it?” You try to approach the topic carefully, your voice softened tenfold as you take a seat on the edge of the table next to him, but it seems that it wasn’t careful enough.
“No.”
“Spence-”
“Just leave me alone.” Spencer finally turns up to look at you, but instead of those round and bright eyes that you’d grown used to over the last few years, you’re greeted with nothing but blank slates that are furrowed under his eyebrows, a metaphorical iron wall spreading across the expanse of his scleras to block you from reading his emotions.
The one thing you can read from his expression is his impatience with you, and you’d be lying if you said that it didn’t sting a little.
“Is that really what you want Spencer?” Your shoulders drop a little, a small sigh leaving your mouth as you rub your hands over your arms. “You won’t feel better by bottling everything up, you know that…”
“I won’t feel better by telling anyone either.” Spencer turns his gaze away from you again so that he doesn’t have to look at the pitiful expression on your face. He didn’t need your pity, it wasn’t like it was going to do anything.
“You don’t know that…”
“I do know that.” Spencer scratches the inside of his right elbow during his retort, a self-soothing method that you’d noticed had developed after his kidnapping. “This isn’t something you can fix with some ‘words of affirmation’.”
“That’s not what I’m saying Spencer,” You sigh softly as his continued attempts at shutting down your advances, and you wonder whether you should just give up and let him deal with whatever he’s going through by himself.
But he doesn’t look okay, and you’re not sure that he can work through whatever it is by himself.
“I just want to help you…”
The subtle change in Spencer’s gaze tells you that the dejection in your tone might’ve cracked those iron walls a little bit, and he closes his eyes momentarily to take a deep breath in through his nose. “I’m sorry for snapping at you, but you really can’t help me,”
“Spencer please,” You sigh softly. “Even if it’s just getting everything off your chest,”
He bites the inside of his cheek, picking at a loose thread on the sleeve of his shirt as he seemingly deliberates whether to let you in on what he’s feeling, and the second you hear that sigh of exasperation leave his throat you know you’ve managed to worm your way in.
“I’m having headaches, I can’t sleep, I constantly feel like I’m going to throw up and I can’t even drink my coffee without spilling it all over myself because my hands just won’t stay steady no matter how much I try to keep them stable-”
Spencer spills his issues to you in one long, unbroken sentence, and you’re half-surprised he even had enough breath to make it through the whole thing.
And the worst part is you know that there are things that he’s left out. But it’s a start at least.
You let out a small exhale as you absorb his words for a moment. “Do you want comfort or solutions Spencer?”
Spencer exhales heavily, the tension in his shoulders visibly relaxing as he considers your question. After a moment of contemplation, he looks up at you with a small, weary smile. "Comfort, please."
“I can do that,” You walk over to where he’s sitting to stand behind him with your hands resting gently on his shoulders, not wanting to push his physical boundaries too much or else force him back into his shell.
As you offer your comforting presence, you feel Spencer's shoulders slump as he leans into your touch, as if the weight of the world has been momentarily lifted off of him. His breathing slows down, and you can sense a slight ease in his demeanour.
You stay with him for a while, not saying anything, letting the room fall into a comfortable silence only broken by the sound of your hands rubbing against the fabric of his shirt against his shoulders. Eventually, he straightens up a bit, turning to look at you with a hint of gratitude in his eyes.
“Thank you…” His voice is quiet, barely a whisper, but tinged with a warmth of appreciation.
You smile back at him, relieved to see some of the tension in his face ease away. It might not solve all of his problems, but sometimes, just knowing that someone cares can make all the difference.
"Anytime, Spence," you give his shoulders a gentle squeeze. "We're in this together, okay?"
“Yeah…”

summary: y/n and Jasper realize that being a vampire isn’t so bad when you have someone to love.
I twirl his silky golden hair between my fingers as he's intertwined with me. As a vampire, he can’t sleep, but I can tell he's at peace.
The Cullen house is quiet, and we’re the only people home. As you’d expect in Forks, you can hear the whirring of air and gentle raindrops tap against the windows from inside. The weather creates a tranquil ambiance for us to find comfort in. There’s a soft static on the TV that we keep on just for the background noise. It provides a dim glow that barely illuminates the room as we lay together.
Jasper and I are sprawled out on the pliant couch, halfway sunken into the seats. I feel his hands on me, and his soft maroon sweater brushes against my skin. For a brief second, I close my eyes and admire the sweet smell of fresh-cut flowers that lingers on all his clothes. I open my eyes again because I don’t want to take them off him.
His eyelids flutter open, and his soft, honey eyes meet mine. I smile and brush more hair away from his forehead. His skin is smooth, and my hand lingers on his temple. I can feel him hold onto me tighter, and his hands grip me more, but I don't mind. I feel secure in his arms, and it’s just so easy to relax with him.
Vampires are inherently cold creatures that don’t have a heartbeat, but he has the warmest heart I’ve ever known. I know he could make anyone feel this serene if he wanted to, but I wholeheartedly believe I feel this way because of my genuine love for him.
“I wish we could do this forever.” His words are soft and barely audible as they leave his mouth, but I can still make out his sticky sweet southern accent. Before I respond, I take a long minute to stare at his cold, soft lips. I don’t kiss him, but rather admire him just as he is.
"Jas, we really do have forever. We can do this for as long as you’d like,” I reassure him while feeling him lean into me and rest his head between my collarbone and jaw. The following words he says are muffled, but I cherish them regardless.
“I’m glad we get forever.”
I don't feel like Emmett gets enough love...maybe something where reader really wants his attention but he is hunting (or something like that) and really misses the feeling of his lips and hands...I'd also prefer to see how cheeky and lighthearted he can be...thank youuuu
a/n: I really loved writing this and thank you sm for the request! Emmett is a super underrated character and I always love getting to write about him. I hope you enjoy the story :)

summary: You can’t help missing Emmett, your boyfriend, while he’s away hunting. When he’s finally back he learns how much you missed him, which results in him playfully teasing you.
“Is it even fair that you’re playing Scrabble with us?” you ask Edward, frustrated about your losing streak. Esme, Carlile, Edward, and you are all playing Scrabble together in the living room. Alice and Rosalie are there too, but neither of them are playing. Rosalie is watching a soap opera and Alice is knitting something. She says it’s going to be a sweater, but it doesn’t really look like one.
“It’s Scrabble, not poker. Reading minds doesn’t exactly help me with this game,” Edward responds as he lays down the word fuliginous.
“What the fuck kind of work is fuliginous?” you ask, annoyed with him.
“It means sooty,” Edward said sassily. Carlisle laughed under his breath, trying to hide it. Carlisle and Esme had really embraced you as one of their kids, but like most siblings, you and Edward were always teasing each other about something. In fact, most people in this family were always teasing each other. It made everyone feel more human to not be so grim all the time. That’s what had originally attracted you to Emmett. He was always laughing or cracking jokes, and he reminded you not to take everything so seriously. That’s why when he first confessed his love to you, you thought it was just some joke. Right after, when he started kissing you, you realized it was serious.
“I forfeit,” Carlisle said.
“What?” You asked disappointedly. In the Cullen house it was widely agreed that if someone forfeit it felt like no one truly won.
“Yeah, he’s got nothing he can play,” Edward responded. Clearly his mind reading was helping him with Scrabble.
“Why do you seem so upset?” Esme asked you, softly touching your hand. At heart, she was such a mother.
“Because Scrabble was an effort to pass the time while waiting for Emmett to come back,” Edward responded while looking at you, trying to embarrass you. Yesterday, Emmett and Jasper left to go hunting together and they wouldn’t be back until tomorrow. Emmett returning had been all that you’d thought about since he left, and it was starting to drive Edward insane. You couldn’t get his lips off your mind. Cold, soft, always ready to kiss you with so much passion. The thought of his hands was even worse. You reminisced on how large and strong they were. You constantly replayed in your mind the memories of Emmett holding your hips like someone holding onto their favorite mug. Tightly, tight enough to never drop it, but gentle enough to not make it shatter.
“Don’t worry, they’ll be back early,” Alice tells you from across the room. “But when they’re back you might not be so happy about it,” Alice warns you playfully. Edward laughs, presumably having already seen whatever Alice predicted. You just roll your eyes and start to clean up the board game.
The next day you stayed in bed all morning watching reruns of your favorite show, hiding away under your comforter. You only got out of bed and got dressed for the day after Alice told you to “look presentable for when Emmett gets home.” Even if she also teased about how much you missed Emmett that weekend, you knew she’d understand. According to Edward, she’d been thinking about nothing but date ideas for when Jasper was back. You were biased, so of course you thought that you and Emmet were the cutest couple, but you had to admit Jasper and Alice were a very close second.
“They’re here!” Alice shouted excitedly from downstairs. You quickly rushed down, excited to see Emmett once again. It had been a long weekend, and even if you had infinite time with him, it never made the time away from him any easier.
“Hey, darlin’,” Jasper says as he walks through the front door, quickly grabbing Alice’s hand and kissing it gently. Emmett walked in a few seconds later and began to lean on the doorframe. He had one hand on his waist and the other propped up against the door frame, trying to look seductive. As always, it worked.
“Miss me, sweetheart?” Emmett asks you playfully. You laugh and he quickly walks over to envelop you in a hug, running his hands through your hair after he does.
“How do you know about that,” you ask confusedly, reluctantly removing yourself from the hug.
“Well, according to the rest of the family you just couldn’t stand to be without me. Constantly talking about how you miss my muscles and my mouth and my-”
“Okay, that’s enough,” you say, embarrassed. He wiggles his eyebrows at you and you have to try not to laugh.
“Y’know, I remember you thinking about how when you got Emmett alone again you were gonna-” You immediately cut Edward off the same way you had Emmett. It’s a miracle Emmett can’t blush, because he knows if he was human he’d be firetruck red.
“Oh, I’m gonna kill you,” you shout as you try to jump at Edward. Emmett quickly grabs you by the waist, pulling you back as you make an attempt to strangle Edward. You hear Emmet laugh at your antics as you send a piercing glare Edward’s way.
“Calm down, killer,” Emmett remarks lightheartedly. Edward hisses at you like a cat that’s been dumped in water, so you reach an arm out to him, pretending to try and claw at him.
“Oh! They’re having another cat fight!” Alice exclaims, causing the whole room to laugh.
“Let’s get you away from this moron,” Emmett jokes, throwing a cheeky glance at Edward. Without warning, he quickly throws you over his shoulder and begins to walk toward your bedroom. That vampire speed and strength really allows him to do anything. You make an attempt to playfully hit his back as you dangle from his shoulder, but it’s a fruitless endeavor. You hear small laughs from everyone else, but you're not even embarrassed. They’re your family.
“So, what was it you were gonna do to me when we’re alone?” Emmett asks playfully as he walks up the stairs, still carrying you. He sets you down on the ground when the two of you make it to your room, looking at you with an expectant smirk. You sit on the bed, and he looks down at you curiously.
“You’ll find out soon enough,” you tease.
“Don’t taunt me,” he warns with a grin. “Besides, I don’t blame you. Who could resist a big strong man like moi?” He asks as he begins to flex his biceps.
“Yuck,” you joke, pushing his arm away.
“Oh please,” he rolls his eyes playfully and sits down next to you. “I heard about how much you missed me. And my hands. And my lips.”
“I really will kill Edward,” You respond, deadpan.
“You’ll have to get through me first,” Emmett teases. He wraps his arms around you and flexes his muscles, causing them to tighten around you.
“No way, I’ll feel too bad when you lose,” you say, trying to hold back a smile as you pretend to be worried about him losing a fight to you.
“In your dreams,” he scoffs, removing his arms from around you, pretending to be hurt.
“In my dreams for sure,” you respond flirtatiously, causing Emmett to laugh.
“Dork,” he responds, kissing you right after. He would probably be teasing you about how much you missed him for a while, but that might be something you could get used to.
MtF reader who is nervous about bottom surgery, (any depth) and so she starts to wander around the forest to work out the excess energy.
Jasper who's used to them pacing around the forest simply waits for them to go to the same spot they usually do. This time instead of letting them not talk about it he tells them they need to talk about it. Since she's so scared of surgery.
a/n: Okay, so I usually don’t write for fem readers, but I thought this idea was super sweet. As a queer person myself, I really love the idea of the twilight vampires being accepting of queer people. I hope I did this ask justice, and to any trans people who are worried about hormones or surgery I hope this is comforting to y’all.

summary: you’ve been nervous about your upcoming bottom surgery for a while now, so Jasper, the concerned lover he is, makes sure to comfort you and talk you through every detail.
Jasper sat atop one of the trees, waiting for any trace of her to alert him. It was no surprise when he smelled her familiar scent before he could even see her. This secluded spot in the forest was where she always went when she was feeling nervous. Jasper looked down to see her, the beautiful girl he’d grown to love so deeply, walking quickly back and forth as she mumbled to herself. Jasper jumped out of the tree, and in an instant, he was next to her.
“You scared me,” she said breathlessly with a red tint covering her face. He could feel her embarrassment, but more than that he could feel her nervousness.
“You seemed nervous, darlin’,” Jasper replied as he held one of her hands in his. “I wanted to check on you.”
“Don’t worry about it,” she said, brushing him off. “It’s nothing.”
“Seems like somethin’,” he said playfully, trying to lighten the mood. “You know you can tell me anything,” he said softly. She smiled at him and with shaky hands she brushed some of the hair away from his face. She let her hands fall back down to her sides, working up the courage to tell him what was really going on. Unbeknownst to her, Jasper was using his power in an attempt to make her feel calmer.
“I just need comfort, not advice. We don’t have to talk about it,” she assures him.
“Sweetheart,” he says softly, his southern accent pouring out, “I can comfort you too, but clearly somethin’ has been botherin’ you for days. We need to talk about it or it won’t get any better,” he tells her as gently as possible, trying not to work her up.
“I’m just worried about my surgery,” she says with a sigh, causing Jasper’s eyes to widen in surprise. Soon, she’d be undergoing bottom surgery, and she was so excited about it, but now it was clearly causing her a lot of stress.
“I thought you wanted the surgery?” Jasper asked, looking into her eyes.
“I do,” she responded hurriedly, “it’s just this is a big operation, and something could go wrong, or I might not be happy with the results, or maybe you won’t be happy with the results and-”
“Darlin’, I will love you no matter what,” Jasper said, cutting her anxious rambling off. “It doesn’t matter if you get the surgery, if you don’t, or how it turns out. Despite how much I love your body,” he says lightheartedly, grabbing a hold of her waist, “that’s not why I stay with you. I stay with you for this,” he says, tapping her temple with his index finger. “You have the most beautiful mind I’ve ever encountered in my 160 years.”
“So things will be the same between us even after my surgery?” She asks hopefully.
“Not exactly,” Jasper says, causing her smile to fade. She gives him a concerned look and he quickly elaborates, “there might be some new things I’d like to try in the bedroom,” he says with a wink, causing her whole face to go red.
“Oh knock it off,” she says, playfully pushing his chest away with her hand, causing him to pretend to be shocked, except he can’t stop smiling at her. “You aren’t worried about me getting hurt?” she asks him. “It’s a serious surgery, what if I die?”
“I know for a fact no one has ever died during bottom surgery,” he comforts, leaning in closer to her. “And even if that somehow did happen, Carlisle and I would rush right over to the hospital and turn you. Even death can’t save you from me,” he tells her jokingly, but they both know that Jasper really would do that for her. “Besides, Carlisle has been a surgeon for like a million years, so that should be comforting,” he informs her. She laughs as she places her head on his chest.
“This is comforting,” she responds.
“Perfect,” he responds, lightly kissing her on the top of the head after. She stays pressed up against his chest, and he begins to gently stroke her hair as they talk out some of the finer details of the surgery. Not only does he provide statistics about the surgery for logical comfort, but he also provides loving, emotional comfort. It’s clear Jasper won’t let anything bad happen to her. He’ll drive her to the hospital, hold her hand as she gets put under anesthesia, and as soon as the surgery is complete he’ll go back to her room and hold her hand while she wakes up. During the recovery process, he vows not to leave her side the entire time, even when she insists he doesn’t have to do that. She’s his whole world now and this surgery is just a small part of their story. Even if it’s scary, she can rest assured knowing nothing bad will happen to her.
