Headcannon: Sometimes I like to think that Hawks weighs close to nothing due to having hollow bones, but like, its a double edged sword. Because he has hollow bones, he is extremely fragile and like, a good punch to the gut can put him out of commission. So like, we all know how fast Hawks is, and I like to think the reason for it isn't because of his quirk, but because he is scared that he will be killed or severely injured if he got.

Omg, but couldn't you imagine when he finally crosses a dead bird fic? Omg, he would get off the internet for the rest of the week.

Toga introducing Hawks to fanfiction and while he's settled down and looking at his phone he asks "why would someone feel the need to tag that there's dead birds in the fic? Is it because I'm in it and have bird traits?" And there's just a moment of silence while everyone realizes what he means by tagging about dead birds and then Dabi just takes the phone from him and says nothing.

hawks just makes me really happy, there’s no full explanation besides the fact i both simp and want to be like him. he’s just a huge comfort character for me and there’s little to nothing else to say. i love the idea of our witty banter, teasing and how empathetic he’d be if i was with him, his comforting hugs and being hidden away in his wings.

others, if not all people besides the simps will say hawks doesn’t have a personality or that he’s just a pretty face. but to be he’s a lot more than that. he’s sweet and empathetic, he’s self sacrificing and hardworking, he’s willing to put himself at risk for the sake of others, and he’s also just. so smart and kind, i love him for that. and that’s one of the many reasons as to why he’s my comfort character.

I felt like drawing him, so I did. #Spoilers for chapter 5. And when I wrote that his hands are big, I wasn't joking. His talons are huge so to accommodate for that, his hands had to be as well. He has to be careful when he grabs things and digs around in his pockets for stuff. He does file his talons down on a weekly basis, but they grow back to full length in about 3 days if he doesn't. He is a gentle giant with terrible social skills. Will he reappear? I don't know, just wanted to add him in cuz I enjoyed his design and wanted to see how others feel about him.

Should I release chapters one by one? In segments or release the whole fic, completed? I just finished chapter 2, now going on to chapter 3. The fic is planned to be 10 chapters long, but I'm trying to make it long, so its at least worth the read, ya know? I had to do a bit of research with the story, since fey/fae/whatever you wanna call it, aren't really a Japanese thing, BUT HEY is an AU for a reason, and its my interpretation of fey as well. So yeah.

Im at 3k words, with chapter 1 and 2 so far, chapter 2 being longer than chapter 1. I already planned what each chapter would be about, so yeah. Reader doesnt make an appearance until chapter 3 and beyond. Why? Because world building, thats why. I wanna make sure y'all as readers have a least a bit of enrichment, enrichment? is that the word I mean? i dunno. Make sure y'all have at least some understanding to the world is all.

FOR THE RECORD, it will NOT be stated where the reader is from, obviously this fic isnt based in japan, so yeah, where ever you wanna be based from, is up to you. Cuz writing allows me to do that. C.Hawks looking over as F.Hawks as he speaks to Nightwing: Being a high ranking hero is actually pretty intimidating to other heroes. And being so young and successful, most heroes think of me as immature, arrogant or self centered. They don't want to be friends with someone they see as childish or young and higher status than them. Though, there are few that I am friends with.

C.Hawks to Nightwing: I do have one intern that I am fairly fond of, though he is currently training his quirk at the moment.
