Can someone explain to me why Alpha/Omega fics exist? I find them so weird as a concept, and while some are actually interesting. Others are... I don't go near those... Like Like what the hell are scent glands, why does sex always have to include knotting, and where the fuck are my dom omega/ sub alpha fics, I can't find any decent ones.

I'm not an avid omegaverse fic reader, I just find them interesting and read them every once in a blue moon

Now this is one I have thought about for a while. And I am taking requests!

Fanon could not be anymore happy, he always dreamed the day he would have a kid to call his own, and have a family he wish he could have had. Canon is scared of out his mind, he knows the both of you are not ready to be parents. But he knows that he could never leave you alone, and let you raise his kid by yourself. He won't leave you and plans to be by your side til the very end. Actually....

Now let's say you two have been dating, going strong for maybe two years? While Hawks is busy working and mobbed by fans, there is nothing better than coming home to you after a long day of flying around the city. He loves you to death, and is always sure to show you how he feels. One night, during an intimate moment, you both could have sworn he used protection, but even so, there is still that 1% chance. After a few weeks, Hawks was on patrol and you felt rather sickly. You had bought a pregnancy test and decided to check just to be on the safe side. After a bit of waiting, the result had you in tears. Positive.

Fanon Hawks comes home from his patrol and announces his presence to you as he removes his gear. He walks over to check on you and sees that you were asleep on the bed. He walks over to the side of the bed and kisses your cheek before noticing something on the side of the bed. His eyes widen as he looks at the test, he couldn't believe it. He dropped to his knees, the sound waking you up, an unreadable look on his face. He turned to you, and spoke softly, barely above a whisper.

"I'm going to be a father?" You nodded and kiss his cheek as he stayed in the same position, still in awe.

He had never felt so happy in his entire life, he could have a family of his own. One where his kid is wanted, and cared for. One where they didn't have to worry about their own safety and when their next meal would be. But one where Hawks could provide and give his child the whole world. Hawks could give you and his kid the family he never had, and more. He got up from he knees and was about to tackle you in a hug, before remembering you now held his child, and decided not to. Instead he picked you up from the bed and spun you around, kissing every inch of your face. He held you still and buried his face into the crook of your neck, tears streamed down his face as he broke down. His smile weak and his grip slowly losing strength. He broke down in your arms and a small weak laugh came from his lips. He went to look at your eyes, and you could tell that he had never experienced so much joy in his entire life until now. He never felt so happy to have someone like you, and knowing it was you he would get to spend his life with, and that it was you that carried his child. He couldn't ask for a better life. Thoughts ran through his head and the one that slipped through his mouth, was the thought of how he can finally have a happy family. You knew his past, all of Japan did, and those words broke you. You held him tightly and littered his face in kisses. He laughed and picked you up once more, announcing that you would be eating out tonight. You chuckled at his happy expression and decided to get dressed. While the two of you have no experience in being parents, you both knew that you would have each other as you both went through the journey of parenthood. That was something both of you were content with, and wouldn't have any other way.

Coming home early from patrol, Canon Hawks could already sense something was off as soon as he walked into the house. He rushed to find you, and heard you crying in the bathroom. Knocking on the door, you opened it and saw his worried expression. You didn't know how he would react and the idea terrified you. What if he left you? What if he said to get rid of it? What if he accused you of cheating? Your mind was clouded with nothing but negativity, and Hawks could sense it. Before he could ask, you rushed to the toilet and threw up. Hawks came to your side and assisted you. He was still worried about what made you like this, until he saw it. The test on the counter. He picked it up and saw it read positive. You picked your head up saw he had the test in his hand. Your blood ran cold, and your body stilled. His expression was unreadable. His eyes focused on the two lines before shifting his gaze to you. You prepared for the worst and closed your eyes, waiting for his response. But no words were said, instead, you felt a cloth wiping residue off your face and a small sigh leave his lips. You open your eyes and see a soft expression on his face. He smiles and kisses your forehead, wrapping his arms around you and resting his head on your shoulder. Your breath hitching as he whispers in your ear.

"You don't have to worry love, I'm not going anywhere." His words make you melt and you lean into his embrace.

A weight lifted off your shoulder, tears still streaming down your face. Not of worry, but of content. While Hawks may not show it, on the inside he was going crazy. He knew you both weren't ready to be parents, but he also knew he couldn't leave you. Not that he would anyways, he wasn't going to leave you alone with such a heavy responsibility. Thankfully he was quick to realize your fears and did what he could to keep you from panicking anymore than you already were. While you were calm now, Hawks could still sense your fears and worry, all the more reason he loved you. He always knew how you felt, and from the time he has been with you, he knew your emotions were real. And your love for him was real too. Hawks went to face you and moved a strand of hair out of your face before speaking once more.

"It's alright, we'll make it. I love you and I'll never leave your side." He kissed your lips, not caring you still had vomit breath, and held you close.

"I know your scared, being a parent. I am too, but I will be with you every step of the way, okay? I'll make sure to keep you both safe, and we can be one happy family. How does that sound love?" You smiled and nodded, still sniffling.

Hawks stayed by your side and tended to your every need for the rest of the night. A father, he was going to be a father. He let out a long sigh and smiled. A little him, whether it was a girl or boy, he knew he would protect them and you with his life.

Hawks asking you out to hang out, and you say yes forgetting you already made plans with Fanon on the same day and time. When you all meet up, there is this awkward silence, only for Hawks to speak up and just to treat it as a normal hang out. You agree and so does Fanon, but as the three of you walk around, people begin to harrass you for being with Fanon and Hawks. So Fanon decides to go out of his way to hold you close and tell people to back offf from "his" mate. This causes mass confusion and now everyone is flocking over to Hawks, who in turn decides to do the same thing with you. Now all of Japan thinks you are in some weird polyamorous Hawks-cest relationship

Hey, back to this, now that it's been animated and what not.

So Hawks has prosthetic feathers, which means his wings will never be the same. My question is, how did AFO notice them? Like are the prosthetics that different from his feathers? In the manga, you could barely notice it.

Man, can wait for when Hawks [Redacted] his [Redacted] gets animated. Then [Redacted] realizes that Hawks' [Redacted] is not what [Redacted] expected.

That moment when you want to talk about specific moments from the Manga, but don't want to spoil the Anime only folk.

So Hawks has [Redacted] [Redacted] which means his [Redacted] will never be the same. My question is how did [Redacted] notice them, like are the [Redacted] that different from his [Redacted]? In the Manga you could barely notice it.

Feeling a lot better after... 5 or 6 days of being sick. Still have a bad cough and nasal congestion, but I feel more energized and am going to get to asks and all that. Fuck the rain, love you guys!

I don't care what anyone says about the Jacket. Hawks in the OVA is stupidly cute. When he does the little peace sign, its just. Its just. SEND ME TO THE SKIES HE IS TOO CUTE TO COMPREHEND!!!

Plus the jacket reminds me of a hunter style. Like those camo jackets hunters wear in the forest/woods so its harder for animals to spot them.

I remember when Hawks was first introduced and opinions were kinda split since we were still trying to figure him out. Even with a bit of a shaky start, I think some people were enamored with him from the get-go. Anyhow, you’re right to say that he was designed to be a fan favorite, Horikoshi admitted that himself when he said he wanted him to be popular!

Hmm. That’s kind of interesting to point out. “A rags to riches story?” And the “opportunity of the hero system” ooh that makes me think, and once again I am wishing we got more on Hawks’ side of the HPSC story and how his debut went. I can definitely see them pulling a “with hard work, you too can be a hero!” and “the hero life offers you many great opportunities and grand splendor” to reel people in, but I think that happens naturally because of the All Might craze. Hawks’ history was kept private so nobody’s gonna be saying he went from rags to riches, and certainly not Hawks himself with how little he shares.

Woah 😂 Oh my god, the spooky music came out of nowhere! That surprised me, and what a dramatic explanation, “crafted on an empty conveyor belt by men in suits and empty office rooms” and you called him a chameleon HELP- but apt description. I feel like I’m reading a fanfic by a theatre kid, this is neat. Really poetic in a serious, looming darkness kind of way. And then everything playing in the background??? Haha, really cool way to design a video and with the sound effects.

I’m glad you acknowledged that while Hawks’ theatrics COULD have been bits and pieces of who he might’ve turned out to be without HPSC interference, it’s mostly trained acting. Which is part of why he became my favorite. I think it’s really cool to analyze what he does and try to figure out the intentions behind them, and how he switches from one personality to another.

And…there’s where I’ll have to disagree. Lady Nagant might’ve been a hired killer, but Hawks isn’t. The HPSC stopped the whole “killing” thing after the last Chairman was killed. And he’s never tried to enable them? He was really upset about that, not wanting to turn a blind-eye to the League’s victims, didn’t let anyone die during the High-End incident despite the HPSC clearly saying “you can, and you will” even if it could’ve convinced Dabi. He’s not the HPSC’s blind puppet. And he definitely doesn’t like them or working for them. Otherwise he wouldn’t have said, “there’s nobody to give me orders anymore, I’m free of my shackles.” When they got shut down.

The spy gig wasn’t the first time he expressed disliking their ideas. The HPSC loves putting up appearances, past and future, with “false sweetness” and he ruined their elaborate little public showcase of the top heroes. They wanted polite PR lines? They called it a “critical turning point?” he threw that line back in their faces. “If this is a critical turning point, then what I don’t want to hear is all these PR-friendly soundbites.” You know, the same thing that annoyed Nagant for it being a lie to the public to save face. Perfect, “safe words” but not real, honest heroics. He sounds rude, but he shoots down the idea of “clinging to the past” by making a counter-point to every line said during that. The HPSC was very frustrated with losing All Might, this was their way to make up for it. But society shouldn’t cling to that old system. Hawks is the first hero to ever say that. Otherwise pretty much everyone is trying to cling to the old ways and become the next All Might.

It’s funny. They expressed frustration over “this is what we get for relying on one man.” But the HPSC continues their old habits of relying on one man when they sent Hawks in alone to spy on the villains with no way out for him, forbidding him to tell anyone of his mission and hiding how he was undercover even during the raid. He could’ve gotten help, he wouldn’t have thought killing Twice was his only option if he had back-up. But nothing. They sent him to deal with the consequences alone, and they got their karma from making the child of a villain, pretend to be a villain and do things he hates, thinking he’d do it easily, but Hawks drew it out for so long that Twice’s clone of Re-Destro destroyed their HQ and killed the Chairwoman. And might I add it was really stupid of them to invite Re-Destro to talk teaming up with support items or whatever when there’s no way they wouldn’t have known he was dangerous. Hawks would’ve warned them. And he knows they’re manipulating him. Isn’t it sad that he says “calling it a proposal when I can’t refuse? how malicious of you” when Nagant tried to refuse killing, she got a gun pulled out on her and got dumped in Tartarus. Hawks likes being a hero, and helping people. And they’re providing support for his mom, and hiding his family history. They’ve got blackmail on him, and Hawks himself can’t refuse if saying yes means someone else won’t have to dirty their hands in his place. He’ll take on the burden so people can rest easy.

And as funny as the sentence “what is Wash’s body count?” is, Hawks and Nagant are the only ones of their kind that were created in this way. Horikoshi’s said it, I’m not just pulling everything out of thin air.
