'I'll be gone in a month', you thought.
And it made you really terrified. You're still young and there's so much more you wanted to do. So you tried to avoid it- anything that you thought dangerous, you completely stopped doing it.
You stopped climbing up stools to take plates from higher cabinets because you afraid you'll fall. You started to be really anxious to cross the road because you're afraid to be hit by a car. You're extremely careful when walking down the streets so nothing like a flower pot would hit your head. You asked your friends to taste you food first before you eat to make sure it was not poisoned. You took every precaution you could.
You don't want to die yet. You can't die yet.
But every single day when you look through the mirror, it's empty. No matter how safe you were, it remained empty.
Until one day, you're all curled up in your blankets, fidgetting and bitting you finger nails as you're anxious because a month had passed, someone entered your apartment.
Quickly you stood up and reached for the nearest vase you saw just in case.
"Woah there, there's no need to be so violent", the uninvited guest smirked. "I mean no harm."
He handed you a glowing pendant. Warily, you took the pendant and asked,
"Who are you? What's this?"
Instead of answering, he showed a mirror in front of your face.
There it is, your reflection. You can finally see your reflection back. You smiled and screamed in joy.
"H...how? Why?", you managed to stammer although you're already speechless.
"Because you're a witch", he replied.
Then you knew that you're not a simple human but a species of immortal witch. Before being immortal, your reflection will disappear for some time- as for your case, a month.
Your reflection became normal- the mirror no longer showed your reflection a month after. And you're also able to see the future through the mirror.
-this just came to my mind and pardon me for my bad English.
From a young age, you realized the mirrors never showed your reflection; they showed you how you’ll look in a month. One day, your reflection is gone.

Gemology—the scientific study of gemstones
Clarity - The grading of a gemstone is based on the presence or absence of inclusions. The fewer inclusions, the better a gemstone’s clarity grade.
Crown - Located above the girdle or at the top of a cut stone, the crown faces up and is in plain view when the gem is arranged in a setting.
Culet - The bottom quadrant or point on a stone with a pavilion that ends in a single point; a bottom facet cut parallel to the girdle on a stone with an otherwise pointed bottom, initially intended to prevent chipping.
Diaphaneity - The general term to describe the transmittance of light through an object. The 3 typical classifications are transparency, translucency, and opacity.
Diffusion treatment - A treatment used to alter the color of a gemstone (mostly sapphires).
Dispersion - The separation of white light into the component colors of the visible spectrum.
Facet - A flat surface on a stone or other media.
Girdle - The line created where the crown and pavilion facets meet, or the series of facets that separate the crown and pavilion facets.
Pavilion - The part of the stone below the girdle, otherwise the bottom portion of the stone.
Sectile - Capable of being cut as into slices or shavings.
Table - A facet on the crown, usually parallel to the girdle. In cases when the girdle isn't a straight line, the table is typically at 90° to the stone's center axis.
Tavernier rule - A method of gemvalue calculation. Price increases by the square of weight of stones. Now obsolete.
Veinstone - Any mineral other than metal which occurs in a vein (i.e., a crack, crevice, or fissure, filled, or practically filled, with mineral matter).
Wisps - Whitish wisp-like fractures resembling thin wind-blown clouds. Occur in some synthetic emerald but never in the genuine.
Youstone - An old English term for jade.

just because someone can articulate their point better doesn’t make them right, it makes them articulated.
“That’s my cat,” the hero said.
“No. It’s mine,” the villain retorted, eyes narrowed.
“…It’s a stray.”
“I feed it!”
“I feed it too! Oh, what now?” the villain waved their weapon around in frustration, “Are you gonna tell me that you have a name for it?”
“…Yes.”
“Well, screw you, I have a name for it too.”
shipping isn’t about what the writers or actors say is or isn’t romantic. shipping isn’t even about romance a good percentage of the time. shipping is about seeing The Dynamic and going absolutely hog wild in your mind and your friends dms about it.

you don’t have to reblog all the posts about politics, the election, the coronavirus outbreak, or really anything else. it’s okay to preserve your fandom spaces for fandom only things. you’re not apathetic or cruel to separate out your spaces. if you find yourself stressing out about what tumblr has to say about these things, get your news from news sources and stick to reblogging beautiful gifs and contributing to meta and recommending mutual pining / fake relationship fics here. it’s okay. it’s natural to need some space to just focus on happiness for a moment. it’s okay. take care of yourselves out there <3
Many years after the evil overlord was deafeated by the forces of the light, there are whispers rumors that the evil overlord has secretly returned to his citadel. You know immediately it could only be an imposter, as you are in fact the evil overlord, living a peaceful simple life in exile.
that some people respond to any well-foreshadowed reveal with “ugh that plot twist was so predictable” proves bad faith criticism has rotted their brains to the point they think it’s bad writing if they can correctly identify information the writers were intentionally giving them
While at a party, you hear screams coming from the main floor and you see flashing lights out the window. You assume the party is getting busted. What walks through the door is much worse than a police officer.
