New version of the Flying Graysons’ suits spotted, in World’s Finest annual 2025. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry, it’s a combination of two well-known versions. From All Star Batman and Robin The Boy Wonder, and Batman the animated series.
See more versions of the Graysons’ suits here. Not comprehensive, mind you, I do other things with my life… I’ll hopefully update this post with the new suit, eventually…
Screaming, crying
Hey yall I'm on the paintrain tonight.
Instead of Tim becoming Robin to snap Bruce out of his violent streak, he gets too close to take a photo of the evidence that Batmans going too far and Bruce, high on adrenaline, throws a batarang at Tim.
It gets Tim in the throat, dead on.
Bruce gets him to Leslie, and then to the hospital, but like.
He almost killed a kid.
His own weapon is embedded in that kids throat, and that kid will never be able to talk again.
Tim meanwhile, would really like the police to stop asking uncomfortable questions like "who are you" and "where are your parents".
Now we move onto Talia fucking with Jason.
Except now instead of "he replaced you" its "he's become a child killer. An abuser. Guess you didn't know him like you thought." With security footage of Tim getting got.
Jason comes back a lot angrier and with way more of a grudge towards Bruce.
oh this has the potential to be hilarious
Dick's mob era happening around the same time as Jason building himself up as a crime lord has so much entertainment potential.
Monsters at Heart/Under Star Filled Skies fans, I'm stuck. Please let me know, should I give Tim one very sweet love interest or three all working together to support him? I can't decide and it's delaying the chapter
Pursuit Predator Robin, Go!
I think that Tim should be in cross country and like to run marathons. Why? Idk it just fits him
He looked at normal track and thought it was too boring so like a psychopath, he chose to run for longer.
Imagine if there was some criminal and they were running away.
Nightwing: Red Robin
*he's a runner he's a track star*
Even with pounds of heavy equipment, he's out running all of them with pure stamina. You think you got rid of him? Nah, you look behind and see that guy behind you, he will win with pure patience, he is inevitable.
All the criminals are scared out of their wits bc of him, Tim does not give up, it is not in his nature
*screaming*
Tim learned on a simulator because no one was there to teach him.
I have thoughts that he did lots of things on simulators. Like he simulated conversations with his dad, telling him all about Robin. He simulated watching movies with Dick. He simulated playing chess games with Bruce.
Tim used the simulator as a tool for social interaction with people who weren’t there.
And the simulator taught him how to drive. :-/
Wonder Woman: The Hiketeia
Wonder Woman #20 : Dark knight of the soul!
Wait kryptonian fangies…. Does that mean Clark also has fangies? And follow up because if so I feel he’d be more shy about them most of the time, does he do a kinda half smile to not flash them around to everyone?
Clark definitely has fangies. He's been very insecure about them for a long time so, yes, he tends to half smile to hide them. But with time, especially around the Justice League, he began to feel more confident and the other heroes can definitely see his kryptonian fangs when he laughs now.
Bruce definitely wishes he could have fangs too. Who can blame him? It fits his aesthetic.
Canon
posting these on tumblr bc i forgot i didnt
Oh my god I love it so much. Those two together would be fantastic chaos
Do you think Bruce Wayne would flirt with Benoit Blanc?
I think if Bruce ever found himself in a situation to meet Benoit Blanc, to his great chagrin, it’d be as Brucie Wayne. He’d be on some rich fuck’s island under cover when a murder happens and it’d be killing him that he can’t break cover to get a closer look at the body. And then along comes Benoit Blanc and Bruce decides, well he’s Brucie right now, it’d be weird if he didn’t flirt a little.
And hey, who knows, if Blanc likes him maybe he’ll let Bruce tag along and get into places Brucie wouldn’t normally be if he wasn’t trying to seduce this weirdly accented, tall glass of deductive skills. (And maybe he’s enjoying it a little more than he should, but technically he’s on vacation so…)
Blanc, of course, catches on and thinks Bruce has something to hide and is keeping him close because he thinks he’s either the killer or in on it.
Except that’s not what the evidence or instincts are actually telling him. Not really.
But he also can’t ignore the fact that Bruce managed to trip and fall directly into the filing cabinet in the office, causing the drawer to fly open and reveal the evidence Blanc’s looking for. Or that the billionaire has a slightly delayed reaction to seeing blood. Not much, but enough for Blanc to notice.
There’s also the way he keeps making suggestions that on the surface seem benign, but are nevertheless intended to lead Blanc toward where his own instincts are telling him to look. So either Brucie is one of those killers who likes to be involved in the investigation because they want to make sure you’re noticing their ‘genius’ or because they think they can control the narrative by being helpful, or…
“Y’know something, Mister Wayne…”
“Benoit, please,” Bruce says with a slow, seductive smile that unfurls like silk over rich velvet. “How many times do I have to ask? Call me Bruce.”
“… Bruce. You’ve been so remarkably helpful.”
“Oh, you know me. I always aim to please.”
Bruce’s smile takes on an electric edge that makes Benoit’s thumb slide to the gold wedding band on his ring finger. He’s a married man, he’s a married man…
“I can’t help but wonder, though,” Benoit says, matching Bruce’s smile for a knowing one of his own. “Don’t you get tired?”
His tone is off, he knows it is because Bruce’s expression doesn’t flicker, not even a jot. It’s just unnatural enough to be telling.
“Tired of what?” the younger man asks, just the right amount of cheerful confusion in his voice and an adorable title of his head like a puppy to make you miss the sharpness behind his eyes. The way his body is coiling tight. Ready for a fight.
“Of pretending,” Benoit says, lifting a cigar to his mouth, making a show of patting down his pockets for the lighter. “I know I surely do. It grates on a man, always being underestimated. Everyone thinking you’re not as sharp as you are. Not as clever, not as quick. It must be a relief, I think, to finally be seen…”
The hand that had been rummaging in his pocket shoots out, aiming for Bruce’s perfect face. Bruce deflects it, twisting Benoit’s hand in a viper-like move Benoit hasn’t seen since…
“Ra’s doesn’t train just anyone,” he says, acutely aware of how much Bruce’s expression has changed without so much of a flicker of muscle. How sharp and hard the angles of his face have become. How deadly. “I confess, I didn’t see it at first. You’re very good, Bruce. I never would have put two and two together if you hadn’t twisted Haggart’s elbow the way you did when he tried to grab Maxine.” He smiles self-deprecatingly. “Take that as a compliment from one detective to another… Batman.”
I understand that the Red Robin run has us all in a chokehold, but I think we sometimes miss the forest for the trees. What makes it truly tragic isn't the fact that Tim is a really depressed and anxious person, but the opposite. Tim is a nerd who loves friendship and justice. He has tons of friends and contrasts a post-Jason Bruce who is withdrawn and depressed by being very outgoing and personable. That's his whole thing as a character, he exists to act as a liaison between Batman and the world.
When Red Robin starts, his father has just died, his best friend has just died, his girlfriend has just died, his mentor and some other friends have disappeared from the map, his older brother is juggling the Batman mantle and a poor ten yo Damian that has just lost his father. This is Tim at his worst mentally. He's a character built on interaction and he has no one to interact with. Add to it his canonical mental health issues, well the guy is going through it.
He pours his entire soul into the search for Bruce because he needs a fucking win. The man is spiraling the entire run. The true angst of Red Robin is not that he's a sad little mew mew, but that he isn't. We come to know him as this little guy who loves making friends and forcing Bruce to open up to others, and now we have to see him alone and desperate. He's very similar to Dick in that aspect, the drama hits you harder because you know how he is normally. And the parallels to Bruce at the start of his run as Robin are just brutal: someone wrecked by grief, alone, pouring all their energy and focus into work as an escape... And even in the middle of his crash out arc, he still ends up making friends. That's who Tim Drake is, and that's why he acts like that after losing so many people he holds dear.
