Finding joy again in things you used to love is one of the miracles of life
I need everyone’s best character advice. STAT.
“We are the only poets,” Emily told Susan, “and everyone else is prose.”
And then there was one (1989 song left)
the problem with reading and writing leading to a strong vocabulary is that you tend to know the vibe of words instead of their meanings.
if I used this word in a sentence, would it make sense? absolutely. if you asked me what it meant, could I tell you? absolutely not.
I am a(n):
⚪ Male
⚪ Female
🔘 Writer
Looking for
⚪ Boyfriend
⚪ Girlfriend
🔘 An incredibly specific word that I can't remember
every single person who reblogs this
every
single
person
will get “doot doot” in their ask box
This has been living rent free in my head since 2020 and I need a place to put it so I guess I'll put it here:
The golden gates are falling down keeping me away
The red and fire are calling out to me
I've tried to escape this realm of hurt and conflicting feelings
The answer's always just out of reach
also the fact that on ttpd she's a huge mess of a person is great. i don't love everything about that album but i love the messiness of her public persona on it. she's too big to be knowable, yes yes, and she's the tamest of all the pop stars we have, of course. but by her own standards of decorum, she let it rip on this album for once. she said "I get myself off to people i'm not dating sometimes and i hate a chunk of my fans more than sometimes. i have terrible judgement. i kind of am a stalker lowkey. i drink way more than you think (and i should). and was fucking miserable for about half of that tour btw." among other things and then she hit post. good for her.
when youre writing but you forget a word that was in your head milliseconds ago so you just die for the next 93 years
