I know this is an invincible reference but I’ve never actually seen it. it’s just a little funny imo
Anyway I’ve started writing it. I might make it a full video or smth (I have NEVER made a video b4 much less a video essay but I’m sure it’s easy [🫡] and totally not complicated or hard) but!!! Anyway I’m working on it and if anyone wants to donate their secret knowledge abt the game pls drop ur knowledge in my inbox and PLEASE include a source!!
One of these days I’m gonna crack and make a full essay on DREAMBBQ bc it’s just such an interesting game that I’d love to dissect and pull apart and maybe even find a meaning along the way (ik it’s surreal and that part of surrealism is its loss of meaning but as an enjoyer of content I would like to find some meaning in the work, canon or not!!!)
Thinking of giving some of my ocs a resident evil version … Luka and insanity would probably be mercenaries similar to Ada but in the sense that they don’t always accept work from people and would rather spend more time seeing the sights. Allister would probably be with one of the main organizations (probably with Chris Redfield) and Alice would follow him as a field nurse …. Hmmm…
thinking about hair i guess
neo agent 3 but raised by salmonid… my feral neo agenda
There’s one little detail during the final boss battle of Splatoon 3 (well several, actually) that’s lost in translation
You see there’s a specific phrase associated with the Calamari Inkantation in Japanese, “to hear it is heaven, to sing it is paradise”
Cap’n Cuttlefish says it when he hears the Inkantation during the final boss of Splatoon 1:
And Marie and Callie say each half it respectively when the former helps the latter regain her memories during the final boss of Splatoon 2:
In Splatoon 3′s final battle, the phrase returns once again, where this time Cuttlefish starts with the first half, and DJ Octavio finishes it with the second half:
Now, the English localizations usually adapt this phrase with “That heavenly melody (the one and only)”, and they did have Octavio say it in 3-
But what get’s lost is the fact that, originally, Cuttlefish and Octavio were saying it together in 3, which is nice to see, given their history and all
(The Japanese phrase also generally seems a bit more profound, but the localizers probably couldn’t have guessed it’d become such a recurring thing when they were working on 1, so yeah)
Evil version of my oc, allister !!
Weskennedy but they actually met in canon. Think. Wesker would totally do the “we’re not so different, you and I” speech to Leon and Leon would probably tune it out because his head is full of nothing and he just wants to go home and see his cat
( can u tellme what're you fucking painting)(yea i paint that thing is weskennedy)(ok)
