In band today Mr Beam[yes im using code names] let everyone vent about yesterdays costume fiasco, and reasoning with us about how at the end of the day shes the boss and we have to do what she says and how we could have our parents or gardians join a board of education meeting to voice their feelings.

Near the end i pitched in something like "It feels like it shouldn't have been made an issue at all, and teens- it's nature for them to rebel-" "uh yeah ya think" " But half the school- anyone that could afford getting dresscoded and didn't have strict parents were inevitably gonna dress up and it seems like it ended up being more of a destraction than if everyone just dressed up in the first place."
