El mar Mediterráneo, el calor típico de la zona, la exquisita comida, los lugares llenos de historia medieval, las zonas al aire libre lejos de cualquier otra persona, una casa acogedora a orillas de la playa, deportes de todo tipo, paseos por lugares de ensueño, lugareños carismáticos, una guía contratada por Jim... La tripulación del Enterprise está de vacaciones el mes de agosto. Jim, Spock y McCoy quieren descansar y no tener que preocuparse por nada durante todo un mes, bañarse en el mar, tumbarse en la arena, recorrerse el pueblo y zonas de interés de los alrededores... Como cualquier otro veraneante. Sin embargo, cada día les pasará algo inusual, algunas cosas más raras que otras, unas provocadas por ellos, otras por pura suerte. Esta es la misma historia pero en español. La pongo porque me resulta mucho más fácil expresarme en español y considero que hay partes en inglés que puede que estén mal traducidas. Si alguien entiende español, yo aconsejo que es mejor leer esta, la riqueza de vocabulario es mucho mayor (aparte de que hay muchos sinónimos de palabras que he utilizado en español que en inglés son iguales).

If someone understands Spanish, I advise that it's better to read this one, the richness of vocabulary is much greater (apart from the fact that there are many words that I have used in Spanish that are the same word in English).

The Mediterranean Sea, the typical warmth of the area, the exquisite food, the places full of medieval history, the outdoor areas far away from anyone else, a cosy house by the beach, sports of all kinds, walks in dreamlike places, charismatic locals, a guide hired by Jim… The crew of the Enterprise is on holiday in August. Jim, Spock and McCoy want to rest and not have to worry about anything for a whole month, bathe in the sea, lie on the sand, walk around the town and surrounding areas of interest… Just like any other holidaymaker. However, every day something unusual will happen to them, some things stranger than others, some caused by them, others by pure luck. Meanwhile, Spock and McCoy have some moments where they consider their friendship and possible deeper feelings. But in both of those situations, they are together and that is something they like. Will that place help them to confess to each other what they really feel?

The version of the normal universe suggests that Spock is supporting McCoy in any situation.

La versión del universo del Mirror dice que Spock es una persona importante, que debe cuidar su imagen ante el resto (especialmente los enemigos), y que, al ser "superior", los demás deben arrodillarse ante él. Obviamente, también se lleva bien con McCoy, pero prefiere no mostrar su "debilidad".

The version of the Mirrorverse says that Spock is an important person, that he must take care of his image in front of others (especially enemies), and that, being "superior", others must kneel before him. Obviously, he also gets on well with McCoy, but he prefers not to show his "weakness".

He estado construyendo en el Minecraft algunas salas del Enterprise. La primera es la sala del transportador. También he hecho algo de pasillo.

I've been building some of the Enterprise rooms in Minecraft. The first one is the transporter room. I've also made some of the corridor.

En este mundo de Minecraft tengo varios mods, entre ellos el Chisels and bits. Es un mod que permite modificar los bloques del Minecraft bit a bit. Los bloques son cubos de 16x16x16 bits cada uno. También permite usar bits individuales para crear bloques nuevos (los cubos esos pequeños que tengo en el inventario son bits, y los he usado para hacer esto).

In this Minecraft world I have several mods, among them the Chisels and bits. It is a mod that allows you to modify the Minecraft blocks bit by bit. The blocks are cubes of 16x16x16 bits each. It also allows you to use individual bits to create new blocks (the little cubes I have in my inventory are bits, and I've used them to do this).

Día 31 de octubre. Fiesta de Halloween en el Enterprise. ¿Quién da más miedo? ¿Quién conseguirá más dulces?

McCoy se da cuenta de que hay dos Spock en la nave, y uno de ellos es el del Imperio Terrano. Recuerda perfectamente el día en que fue transportado por error al otro universo, y también su experiencia con el otro Spock.

McCoy realises that there are two Spocks on the ship, and one of them is from the Terran Empire. He remembers vividly the day he was transported by mistake to the other universe, and also his experience with the other Spock.

Es misterioso, siniestro, impredecible. ¿Qué querrá hacerle? Sabe que no puede oponer resistencia, esperemos que la suerte esté de su lado.

He is mysterious, sinister, unpredictable. What will he want to do to him? He knows he can't resist, so let's hope luck is on his side.

This week I drew this:

Sé que la pose es demasiado estática, aún tengo que trabajar dinamismo en poses y anatomía del cuerpo y muchas cosas más (no voy a dar abasto 😵). Me puse a dibujar la cara de Mirror Spock y como me gustó cómo me había quedado, añadí el resto del cuerpo para probar (esto no me gustó tanto cómo quedó 😆).

I know the pose is too static, I still have to work on dynamic poses and body anatomy and many other things (I don't think I'll be able to keep up with it 😵). I started to draw Mirror Spock's face and as I liked how it turned out, I added the rest of the body to try it out (I didn't like it so much 😆).

Why I drew like this:

Yo siempre he querido que al dibujar personajes se parezcan lo máximo a la realidad y el estilo cómic creo que es de los que más consiguen eso y de los que más me llaman la atención (bueno, también depende de qué cómic, pero yo me refiero a cómics tipo Marvel, que están muy bien detallados).

I've always wanted that, when drawing characters, they look as much like reality as possible and I think the comic style is the one that most achieves this and the one that most attracts my attention (well, it also depends on the comic, but I'm referring to Marvel type comics, which are very well detailed).

Además, llevo un tiempo pensando que debo cambiar mi forma de dibujar para que se ajuste más a lo que yo quiero (ahora que llevo un tiempo dibujando de forma seria). Por eso, esta semana me propuse "empezar de cero". Empecé a ver vídeos, referencias, consejos... de gente que dibuja muy bien ese estilo, para ver cómo podía yo usar esos consejos para hacer eso que decían a mi "estilo" (si es que puede decirse que tengo uno) y que me gustara cómo quedara. Esta semana me he dedicado más a la cara y sus partes, rostros y eso.

Besides, I've been thinking for a while that I should change the way I draw to make it more in line with what I want (now that I've been drawing "seriously" for a while). That's why this week I decided to "start from zero". I started to watch videos, references, tips... from people who draw very well that style, to see how I could use those tips to do what they said to my "style" (if I can say I have one) and that I liked the way it looked. This week I've dedicated myself more to the face.

Trataré de dibujar así de ahora en adelante, y espero llegar a cumplir mis expectativas (ahora que me he demostrado a mí misma que puedo dibujar mejor que antes, al menos las caras por ahora).

I will try to draw like this from now on, and I hope to live up to my expectations (now that I have proved to myself that I can draw better than before, at least the faces for now).
