Based Off My Friend's Commentary Whilst Watching The 'Orion Pax' Arc Of Transformers Prime:

Upon looking into it more, Gronzi was the name of the original antagonist of the early concept for Dinosaur. Gronzi was originally a Tyrannosaurus. Had the name Gronzi stayed, it would have been the only character outside of Suri that survived into the final product.

I think it would have been pretty cool if they kept the carnotaurs as characters rather than villainous "sharp tooth" like monsters.

Trouble was to achieve weight and scale you need hundreds of frames of film when the average shot length is 3 feet of film or 72 frames only.”
