Flower Fungal Infection AU (TMC)

‼️Takes place after Catalyst ‼️

The dead resurrect and are now mindless zombies covered in plants. The fungus builds up around wounds or certain places that caused the death. The fungus is a parasite, using the dead as hosts. The spores of the fungi are deadly toxic to alternates. Some alternates die, some hide, a rare few fight. The fungi are also deadly toxic to other species, especially humans. Inhaling the spores is fatal, as the fungus tear you from the inside out, turning you into a mindless zombie. Best advised wearing a mask when venturing outside.

The fungi can enter the body in a few ways. It can enter the lungs after inhalation, corrupting the lungs and taking over other organs slowly. It can also enter open wounds into the blood line, infecting a little quicker than through the organs. Early symptoms can be (but not limited to) coughing up bloody petals/leaves, sudden aggression, migraines, dizziness, hallucinations, a sudden urge to go outdoors in infected areas.

‼️The infected can be killed off. Alternates cannot get infected, they'd just die. You can prevent an infection before it starts by cutting the infection out within 3 days‼️

Mark Heathcliff. Status: infected.

Cesar Torres. Status: Was infected, leg was cut off to prevent infection; Alive.

Adam Murray. Status: Alive (immune) but mentally unwell. Grieving.

Jonah Marshall. Status: Infected. Caged up to keep Adam sane.

Sarah Heathcliff. Status: Alive. Hiding out with Cesar.

Evelin Miller. Status: Semi-alive. Hiding in the Mandela County Police Department. Alone, dying of starvation.

Thatcher Davis. Status: Alive. Hiding with Adam and infected Jonah. The reason Adam hasn't done anything fucking stupid.

Ruth Weaver. Status: Dead. Was shot by Thatcher. It was a dark time.

Dave Lee. Status: Infected.

Stanley. Status: Alive, in hiding.

Lucifer. Status: Alive, also in hiding.

have any of the Alternates (or people in general actually, but I assume that's less likely) ever eaten a person? In the AIA au or in your regular canon.

I did do this art once of Adam eating Jonah tho that was more metaphorical (unbalanced/unhealthy relationships). In regular canon I don’t think alternate need to eat, they can but they don’t NEED to. So I suppose they wouldn’t unless there’s some reason for it

In AiA, alternates do need to eat because they have organic bodies that require sustenance, but I don’t think they’d eat a human (not very nutritious). If any of them would though it’d be N, because AiA N is a freak…

Freak behavior

Honestly, I love it when characters relapse. When someone who’s gotten over their anger issues falls into a situation so out of their depth they fall back on their old habits. When someone who’s learned to open up becomes a recluse again in order to cope with something outside their control.

There’s just something so horrible, so toxic, about watching a character grow and then slip back into their old selves in order to cope, bc you know they still care, that they’re the same inside, but watching them hurt so hard they don’t know what else to do brings a sense of catharsis.

Its finally here! The first look into my Amazing Digital Circus AU that I've been cooking up for the past few weeks! :))

The main thing that is obvious here is a lot of the abstracted members are back. Which is all thanks to Caines efforts in keeping the circus members happy and sane! More on that later I imagine- <XD

Some designs are going to be tweaked a bit further. Gummigoo and Kaufmo aren't quiiiiite where I want them yet.. but none the less! I hope this post made you laugh and I hope to post a bit more about them sometime soon! :))
