I've just finished reading your story, and I can't even express my deepest sorrows for you and your family. Sadly, I cannot do anything to help, and the most I can do is share your story, which might not get a lot of reach, considering how small my account is.

But to those who see this post, here is Amira's story. It's a very shitty summary, but I think it'll do.

"After her father's passing, Amira found herself taking care of her family, consisting of her mother, who sadly suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes. Amira worked as a teaching assistant while pursuing a master's degree in data science, and also worked as a programmer in a company, all until war came and destroyed everything. Her university, workplace, and home were completely destroyed, forcing them to flee south in search of a safe haven. Now, Amira and her family live in tents for displaced people in Deir al-Balah, where they suffer from water shortages and the spread of diseases, posing an additional challenge, especially for her immunocompromised mother. Amira and her family hope to escape this difficult situation and build a better future. The cost of travel for one person is $5000, and the cost of living is $500 per person per month, and Amira hopes to gain at least €39,000 to be able to escape with her mother."

Honestly, I love it when characters relapse. When someone who’s gotten over their anger issues falls into a situation so out of their depth they fall back on their old habits. When someone who’s learned to open up becomes a recluse again in order to cope with something outside their control.

There’s just something so horrible, so toxic, about watching a character grow and then slip back into their old selves in order to cope, bc you know they still care, that they’re the same inside, but watching them hurt so hard they don’t know what else to do brings a sense of catharsis.

So uuuhhh hiii I decided to make an OC…because I’m just so cool and based like that. This is Astar (like, Astaroth, hehe). For anyone who cares enough to read this, this guy tried to cancel his life subscription one too many times, saw a vision of Gabriel telling him life is worthless, and was brought back and kinda cracked. Decides "well...if life doesn't mean anything, I'll do what I want. And I want to study alternates." So, mf actively hunts them and tries to catalogue their behavior and biology. Like...paranormal biology. Parabiology.

He's weird, but he's a chill guy. Yaps people's ears off about biblical theology and the paranormal. Makes good soup. He lets ghost hunters, like BPS, stay in his house (which he paid dirt cheap for) in Mandela in exchange for their juicy camera footage of ghosts...or alternates.
