I deserve a good long summer vacation!!
(4/8/19: Samal Island, Davao del Norte, PH)
☕ Quarter I was all about finishing tasks, senior thesis, and graduation. Those three months finally passed and I’m grateful to say I did a pretty good job keeping my shit together. This is my self-report of my second quarter of 2019 with the intention of moving on after six years of my environment molding me into an anxious stem student but who also has the intention of doing art in the future. It was hard juggling two different things, and I bet it will also get harder soon. I flunked my exam to get to my dream uni/arts course. The only doors open for me were science courses but soredemo I’m still grateful for these chances. Maybe the universe is still saying “not yet” to myself for now.
Days after I checked my exam results and the morning after graduation day, I immediately flew south to attend a youth conference with my relatives. To me, it felt like an escape from my problems back home by sheltering myself through the event. There were lots of self-reflection and I can definitely say it helped me made some decisions. Don’t get me wrong, I actually did had a fun time!! No regrets.

☕ Witnessed Kamikazee and December Avenue music huhu 💕 Feels surreal to hear your songs from spotigy/youtube on replay to live concerts with tons of people.
(4/2919: Kamikazee - HNU Oval)
(5/1/19: December Avenue - CPG Sports Complex)
☕ Did a beach/underwater-themed wedding guestbook commission!! I had fun experimenting different textures for the cover, illustrating a photo of them together, and painting different sea creatures on the pages!!
☕ Had a 20-days summer job at the provincial capitol. They newly built the place and was assigned to a very pretty office. Also met new found friends!! 💕
☕ We did our part for World Oceans Day with a beach cleanup held by Plastic Free Bohol (a local NGO I hope to volunteer more often!!) After picking up trashes, we went ahead to find a good spot to chill/sun bask with my friends.
(6/8/19: World Oceans Day - Doljo Beach, Panglao Island & Bool, Tagbilaran City, Bohol)
Other friends also did a mini mangrove planting project in Bool’s coastal areas!! So proud of my batch mates 💕
As someone who’s taking a college course that mainly covers ocean conservation and marine life (maybe in another post hehe), figured at least participate local cleanups (as if it’s our last haha) even if commuting to the venue’s a challenge, all efforts definitely doesn’t go to waste :)
Quarter II was an experience of taking my longest break and I definitely believe that I deserved that haha! Quarter III starts this month and all college prep should start now. School starts in August so I think I still have time lounging on this cave lol
I think I made good decisions so far and had good realizations during my break. Whatever happens, happens. I did my work and arrived setbacks, but I’ll try and try again no matter how long it takes. I’m also interested in my upcoming field in uni so I’ll take it as a stepping stone to my intentions, old and new. :)
Lalaban po ako ulit.

Even in the tiniest details could make a difference. 😌💚
the tiny specks of colour in their eyes
the bass and background sounds in a song
starlight on a cloudy night
how someone looks when they think nobody can see them
the mannerisms of a stranger
real meanings behind spoken words
subtle facial expressions which last a second
the underlying flavours in food
emotions that a friend is trying to hide
little lights in a sleeping city
flowers growing through cracks in the pavement
the mixed colour palette in a piece of art
the melody of someone’s voice

八月ー 九月 (August to September):
☁ Mesmerized by Childe Hassam’s works. ✨ ☁ School is getting on my nerves huhuhu 😭 I’ve been trying to sleep as early as I can. ☁ Attended a Google talk arranged by local tech enthusiasts and got myself a cool Google shirt! 👌 ☁ My mother went to Dumaguete and jokingly said her to buy MLP pillows. Days later, I had Pinkie Pie beside my blanket. 🌈 ☁ This year was probably the best acquaintance party we had in school. Maybe because they invited an actual band instead of Spotify music. 😂 ☁ Our band also got the chance to play at the partay. 🎉 Hope we would play more this year. ☁ Post card by Littlemisspaintbrush from Kawaii PH ❤
Highlights Of My✒#INKTOBER 2018✒
I did better this year with a score of 18/31 😃 and decided to put mine in a bujo spread. October for me is a really busy month, but I took the risk of doing it this year along with school work, college admission exams, and org work. But I managed!! I get to try loose inking for the first time!! Woohoo
It’s still hasn’t sink in that the one I’ve been reading over the past six years has finally reached to its conclusion. 😭 Fairy Tail made me realize something back then and I’m forever grateful for this work. ❤

Around the last days of August, I finally had the resolve of bullet journaling my way out of a busy month of school work, exams, college admission tests, a youth service that I'd never think of participating, and esp (of course, once again) an inktober attempt juggling all these things in a span of thirty one days. Spoiler: I got by and actually (barely) survived ✨🎉
I'd say it is a proper bullet journal now because of such elements based from Ryder Cowell's system of the whole bujo. I never really dug deep into the bujo community until I realized that bullet journaling was waaay more flexible than I thought. So I researched the whole concept and it turns out I was actually "bullet journaling" even way back since I used to do (food and skincare) logs, (anime & manga) trackers and (idea/music) lists before then, only the difference is that it was all over the place, kept in an unorganized manner unlike a proper bujo separating them by months for convenience of the viewer's eye onto the paper he/she's seeing.
I realized I was about to go down if I didn't kept track of the things that was happening last month. I decided to put my inktober works inside my bujo along with my test permits and weekly tasks in school. You could say that this notebook helps me stabilize equal amounts of time with school related tasks and my creative projects I've been working on since idk... day 1? *sighs. (To be honest, my heart is aching to be in two places at once -_-) It's been a long time for me doing multiple things, and I miss concentrating, focusing on one thing with all your heart. That's why I decided getting things real with legit planning my days from now on. I still think its scary doing this since I'm more of a "surprise attack" person than an organized one at that.
I think I did a pretty good job on my first month. We're now in the early days of November and I think I'm making sure I'll get things by. Bullet journaling is kind of therapeutic tbh, been tracking my sleep lately bc of my weird patterns but I'm sure I'll be fine soon haha 😃

Ps: stickers and things aren't really necessary, they just make me happy by seeing colors every now and then hehe
Pps: not posting it that much online = also don't wanna stress over how it looks and not that visually pleasing since it isn’t about that at all heheh
五月 ー 七月 (June to July): ☁This journal is inspired by Reese’s aesthetic and Pixie’s iridescent life. 💕 ☁ Ate spicy sunflower seeds and it was good. ☁ Nasal allergies. ☁ “Fusion-y” tea. ✨ ☁ Secret autograph of Reese I will forever keep. ☁ Just saying I’ve learn a lot from Ate Kaila. 💕🌈
My problem with notebooks and journals is that I’m not worthy enough to use them because I might ruin there beauty. Another reason why I take days to finish a page > < But I love them still.
