I want to write a HP fic where it's BeauxBatons students that go to Hogwarts on some school exchange and Hogwarts hasn't changed much since the harry potter time, but BeauxBatons is now very much like a regular modern french highschool where they complain about the curriculum changing each year, and they burn bins in front of the school gate and stop students from entering because the french ministry of magic has just passed a law about pensions

My favorite thing about Earthsea is it has the fairy type magic where knowing something's true name gives you power over it. The catch though, is that it isn't a convention limited to the fair folk and is a central pillar to all magic in the world, so you end up with people going by the fantasy version of online usernames to avoid giving out their fantasy social security number.

I think it's the third year in a row i've had to relearn Darcy's law because i keep forgetting the equation, because i read the name and i instantly think "Oh yes Darcy of course i know of him i haven't had the pleasure of being introduced but i hear he has over 10000 a year"

One-year-ago-me thinking i shouldn't start Star trek tng because i knew if i started it i would start becoming a star trek fan and i knew how most of my other obsessions ended up becoming too much and i ended up thinking constantly about it, plus i was hyper aware that such an old fandom means lots of content and rabbit holes.

Half-a-year-ago-me glad that tng didn't become an overbearing obsession, how It's not a perfect show but it's okay, i know a few parts have aged poorly but some episodes still make me a bit sad in a good way

Yesterday-me I ONLY HAVE 21 EPISODES LEFT OF TNG WHAT WILL I BECOME ?! WHAT WILL MY LIFE BE WITHOUT IT ?? I KNOW THERE ARE 10 000 OTHER STAR TREK SHOWS BUT I DON'T CARE !! I LIKE THE TNG CREW AND THE INTERACTIONS THEY DEVELOPPED.
