Propaganda 3

I’m back with more propaganda for my aa cats! I mentioned in the last one that Wagahai has kittens—kittens that we DO have pictures of!!! 

Here they are!!

Can you spot them in the picture of the great ace attorney cast?? Worry not, here are some close ups!!

Kitten 1, making a home of Herlock’s shoulder! Look at those wide little eyes 🥺

Kitten 2 hiding behind Kazuma, looking curiously out at us. What a precious little kitty! And of course, kitten 3, climbing up to Ryunosuke like a little gremlin. Look at those tiny little paws!!

And here we have Wagahai, tired out from watching over her little kittens. Such a sweet, sleepy kitty—isn’t she just adorable?

Here are the kitties again, climbing up Soseki’s arm like little gremlins, tapping each other with playful little paws. Aren’t they just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?

And here they are staring maliciously and mischievously in court. “You are not prepared for us”, their glittering little eyes say, and they are right. 

And finally, another picture of the aa family. Look at Wagahai’s little paw, raised in greeting!!! Look at her little smile!!

And here is a close-up of the kittens on Ryunosuke’s head like little gremlins. Look at those eyes!!! They hold such innocence in them….but what is kitten 1 staring off at?? Something only a cat can see, I suppose. How mysterious, and how adorable

In conclusion: vote Shoe and Wagahai!!! Look at her kittens!! They were taken from her, but she will always love them, and we will always love her!! Please do not abandon her—she has already lost so much. Do not force her to lose this as well 🥺

It’s me again!! I know I’ve already posted a lot of propaganda, but Shoe and Wagahai are everything to me, so I’m back with more! I promised videos a while back, so here are the links to them!!

I hope you enjoy the videos of these adorable little kitties!! In all seriousness, I’m so happy they have made it to the semifinals, although I am devastated that it was not with Catbus. They hold a very special place in my heart, and it makes me so happy to see so many people supporting them so enthusiastically!! There was a moment last round where I really thought they were going to lose, and I felt so helpless, knowing that there wasn’t anything I could do to stop it. But I’m not the only one rooting for them–so many people were reblogging and commenting and begging their followers to vote in the poll, and people came out in spades to support these little kitties!!! Ultimately, it seems they were a little overeager, as we overshot the margin and didn’t tie with Catbus….but the fact that so many people love these cats, and wanted to be there for them when it really counted…that made me cry a little. 

This is just a silly little cat poll, I know. It’s not supposed to be serious, and most of the time it isn’t!! It’s just a place for cat-lovers to come see cute kitty cats!! But this last round really meant a lot to me. So many of us came together just to support these silly little cats!! We are all connected by our love for them, which runs so very deep. They are just two little kitties, but they are loved. No matter what happens, they are loved, and there is something about that that made me cry. Wagahai was abandoned by her original owner, who took her kittens with him. We never find out what happened to Shoe after his owner was put in jail for hiring an assassin. Both of them were left behind, and one of them was forgotten about entirely. But we didn’t forget, and we won’t let them go without a fight.

Nobody thought we would make it this far, least of all me, but I’m so happy we did. I’ll keep fighting until the end, whatever that looks like, but even if we don’t make it to the finals, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who brought us this far. Thank you for loving these cats the way they deserve, and the way their original owners didn’t, or couldn’t. Thank you for supporting them, for fighting for them, for staying by their side. No matter what happens next, we will always love them, and that’s what really matters.

I am a house cat, simple and plain

I was born to run in the meadows

But he locked me away in a barren room

And it is so lonely to run alone

I am a house cat, and I was unloved

Abandoned by the one I cherished most

As he crossed the ocean with my children in hand

I waited at the water’s threshold, and wondered if I would drown

I was a house cat adrift from the world 

Afraid of the tragedy that followed my stride

But they came for me when I was lost and alone

A child with hair the color of salmon,

Her laughter bringing light to my chest

Please vote for Shoe and Wagahai!!! 

-Shoe is based on a real cat!! One of the creators of Ace Attorney, Shu Takumi, named the cat after himself, and made him look very similar to his real life cat, as you can see by the side-by-side comparison!!!

-Shoe also helped solve a kidnapping case! He meowed while the kidnapper was on the phone, giving away their location to the protagonist, who had seen the cat earlier that day!!! -Shoe’s meow also helped the protagonist figure out who hired the assassin–this cat is truly a hero in every sense of the word!!! Just look at his precious little face!!! And here’s a bonus picture of the irl inspiration:

Anyways, remember how I said Shoe was based on a real life cat? Well guess what that cat’s name is? That’s right: Wagahai!! Just like the other kitty in this delightful duo!!! This is Wagahai:

Shoe is a hero, and Wagahai is too–their younger owner, Iris Wilson, made a cat flap creation device to make some for Wagahai. This device later helped solve ANOTHER murder. Here is a picture of the creation, just for fun:

We all know that when cats sit on their little cat towers staring down at us, they are thinking “I am above all of you. You are nothing more than the dirt beneath my feet”. They are the princes and princesses, and we are their servants. Well guess what? Wagahai’s very NAME embodies this!!! -The word “wagahai” is a Japanese first-person pronoun–we only have “I” in English, but Japanese has multiple versions of “I”, which each carry characteristics like masculinity, femininity, politeness, etc. 

-The pronoun “wagahai” is special because it carries with it an EXTREME sense of haughtiness and arrogance. Using it is just like being a cat staring down from that cat tower–it’s a way of saying “I’m above all of you”.

-Wagahai is the perfect name for a little kitty cat, so you simply must vote for this legend!!!

In conclusion:

Vote Shoe and Wagahai!! They are a perfect tag team, heroes and gremlins, and if there is anything better than one cat, it’s two cats!! Also if they lose I will cry real, genuine tears. These kitties have endured hardships too, and they deserve a win!! I love them very much, and I hope you do too!!!

Look how she imitates her owner!!! Isn’t she the cutest thing you’ve ever seen??? (and if the tag team wins this round, I have videos too)

But alas, along with these adorable pictures, I must tell you of this kitty’s tragic past. That’s right—Wagahai is adorable, and she is loved by her current owners. But it was not always that way, and a happy present cannot erase the sorrows of the past. 

Iris and Herlock were not always Wagahai’s owners. Originally, she belonged to a man named Soseki. He is portrayed as a strange but likable character, yet his actions in regards to his cat are reprehensible.

Soseki is (falsely) accused of murder two times, and spends six days in a holding cell. Despite this, he does not mention his cat to his lawyer, nor does he ask his lawyer to feed her. And so the poor kitty is left all alone, without food or company. Is this lack of regard for his cat normal for Soseki? We cannot say for certain, but the (in)action we do see paints a grim picture of this kitty’s original home life.

If you think that’s bad, it gets worse. When we first meet him, Soseki is in England, having traveled overseas for college. However, he soon returns to Japan, and when he does, he leaves poor little Wagahai behind. Worse, he takes her kittens with him. Abandoned by her owner again and again, her kittens stolen from her grasp in the most cruel way possible—Wagahai has been scorned by the world in far too many ways. Can you really bear to vote against her, knowing that your betrayal is such a cruel echo of her owner’s abandonment? 

Look upon her once more, knowing of the hardships she has suffered. In your heart, you know what you must do.

So I’ve been rewatching season 2 today and I noticed that there was no holy water during the battle in the bookshop. Aziraphale can’t make any water holy? Or is he too good to use it against demons?

Why would he have holy water in his bookshop? It could hurt Crowley.
