Because historically speaking, Leonardo was tall and fucking ripped. There’s a story from when he lived in Milan that he could twist an iron horse shoe with his bare hands.
But
He also dressed almost exclusively in rose colored clothing.
So image this tall, handsome dude, smarter than anyone else at the time and he dressed head to toe in pink.
Man, I love Leonardo da Vinci.
Henry: I don't understand why people like sleeping so much.
Jacob: It's a free trial of death.

I’m sure Cesare would take care of him in a much more graphic fashion if he ever discovered Leonardo’s treachery but then again he might consider the hanging a nice throwback. I’m not sorry
I wonder… why is it that old!Altair reflects Malik here in the puddle of water? Why is it not Darim reflecting Malik and Altair reflecting himself in this sequence? Is it because Malik had back then already possessed a wisdom as old!Altair does in this moment? Is it because this moment reflects the exact state during Altair’s leaving for Mongolia: Altair as one who still has a lot to learn (Darim) and Malik as the wise one with lessons long learned (old!Altair)? Is this why Altair’s position is inverted, or is there some other story behind it, I wonder…
On another note, see how Altair and Malik are hugging, in the reflection? Malik’s hand goes over Altair’s shoulder and behind his neck, and Altair’s hands go below Malik’s shoulders and to his back. I’m going to cry…
