Tumblr is the only place where this happens:
You can be 100% clear and still have some troll account comment huh?!
Then when you match their energy, they’ll come to your dms to cry about it.
Pathetic.
Back in my day, the trolls took their L gracefully and didn’t have a meltdown in your DMs.
It’s like Tumblr missed out on some areas of internet lore but once it hits it’ll hit weird.
The Midwest has seen everything. You’re not the first west coast baby to move to the Midwest and you won’t be the last.
“So you’re a villain, but you only want to take over this small village?” “Yep.” “You don’t have any plans to take over anywhere else?” “Nope.”
At least in CP private servers you can choose any color now.
Why the fuck did that stupid ass aqua color win the vote. I remember being so mad about it like it literally looked so close to the other light blue that was already in the game. I was a kid and blue was my favorite color in the world and even I was able to acknowledge that. But no I guess you just line up 3 colors and stupid children just vote for the one they like best in a vacuum instead of giving an ounce of a fuck about the greater implications and impact of their decision.
“Erm Hollywood/ Gaming Industry/ Music/ publishers don’t make anything original anymore it’s just sequels, remakes, samples, and prequels!”
I’m going to hold your hand when I tell you this:
Support original art outside of existing pillar franchises and labels.
If you remain inactive in supporting new things, everything will stay the same. Studios, producers, and executives only produce games, movies, music, and TV shows if they believe there’s a fanbase for it. Many book publishers won't take risks on picking up an existing series unless they can prove a major return.
I’m done with this stale argument that everything sucks now. If you’re unhappy with the industry, do something about it or stop complaining. Stop hate watching and start engaging with content you enjoy. Take a chance on new content, you might be missing out.
The era of the hate-watching YouTube essay reviewer is slowly ending, and that's a good thing. Don’t let these reviewers, who often don't even watch what they critique, deter you from trying new things. They often have agendas to convince you that only their specific taste of art is worthwhile. They also don’t like a majority of things even indie.
Form your own opinions and seek out new things to enjoy. Deconstructing and hating is easy; constructing and loving is much harder.
My SO is stuck in a house with her creepy mom’s boyfriend. He’s peeked on her in the shower and that was the last straw for her. He’s done other things but nothing as bold and disgusting as this. Now she’s trying to get out ASAP but she doesn’t have enough for the deposit in the new place. I sent as much as I could but I’m scared that she’ll end up stuck with this creep. This is such bullshit. Why do sick fucks like this exist? Why does rent cost so much in certain states that the deposit is so expensive? I want her to move in here already but it’s just not realistic with her work life yet. So so sick of this.
Update: she moved out
Major YouTubers turning out to be extremists, scammers, abusers, or pathological liars isn’t even a surprise anymore. I think that says a lot about the type of danger is involved even in internet fame. As a famous YouTuber once said, “This isn’t even real fame and some of you can’t handle it.”
Even minimal fame seems to get to their heads. I believe Stan culture causes this too. How does an already vulnerable person stay grounded when that’s the case?
One second you’re making happy wheels part #765 and the next thousands of people claim to want to sleep with you. Then tons of fanart and fanfics inspired off of you. It goes instantly to the head.
You start to feel like a god. Like nothing you do will be perceived as terrible. The worst part? If you start to act like this the fans feed into it. “Yes King/Queen go off!”
Then either one of two things happen. You come back to earth and relax. Or you start ramping it up. The latter ends terribly all the time.
It seems that internet fame has two options. Use that as a platform to help others in some type of way or use it to feed your ego.
There’s only one you. There will never be another you. Please make the best of life and don’t forget to enjoy each day. Even when it feels like everything is collapsing. Keep moving forward. Your time in the sun is coming soon.
Well we’re waiting..
