Hey Enoch… How Do You Feel About Vinegar?

Hey Enoch… how do you feel about vinegar?

Anon.

Hey Enoch… How Do You Feel About Vinegar?

I have a wealth of feelings about vinegar, particularly a fine, distilled version of it... the beauty of a chemical that can be found in many a kitchen and has the power to cause such chaos... near nothing can match.

Hey Enoch… How Do You Feel About Vinegar?

I find it particularly useful when it comes to keeping my hand free of rust and grime, something that is quite necessary when you depend on such things to be able to do somewhat basic tasks.

Hey Enoch… How Do You Feel About Vinegar?

As for the taste, well. I eat whatever is given to me. When I was feeding myself, most items I created were rather bland or even burnt. Vinegar, however strong the taste, surely cannot be worse than that.

Signed, Enoch Drebber

P. S. - I have heard from Dobinbough that quite a few barrels of wine in the van Zieks cellar have turned into vinegar. We both find the situation to be quite comical.

Enoch, would you believe me if I said that one day man would reach the moon using an as of yet unexplored method of propulsion?

Anon.

You bring up a fascinating concept. I have long wondered myself whether it was possible for man to reach the moon, or perhaps even further. I think I may believe that it is possible, though I do not know how long in the future that may be.

It is something that I myself will have to look into. I know that propulsion could theoretically be used to lift something rather than trying to imitate the flapping of wings or, God forbid, Benjamin's inane ramblings on teleportation. That being said... yes. Yes, I will have to look into the science myself.

Thank you for the idea. Enoch Drebber

hosonaga-san what is your favorite disguise youve ever utilized on a mission

To Ribbonroad:

I shall have you know that I cannot, will not, be discovered this easily! As I am an incredible master of disguise and could be anyone, anywhere, at any time, it would be utterly foolish for me to admit what my favorite disguise is!

However, that being said, I suppose I could tell you about one of my disguises I have retired.... Hm.

All I will say is that I am quite fond of turtles.

this more a question for the mod(s?) but um. how did you get such good sprites of all the characters? the ones on the wiki suck and im not sure how you did it </3 thanks if you do answer btw!!

Hello astonot!

I'm afraid I don't know the exact process, as it was actually @ask-modern-aceattorney who figured out the process! Essentially, I would pick the sprites I liked best, and they would put them through some sort of gif enhancer, one by one. I started sending gifs in our dms because we were both having fun setting up blogs, and they offered to upgrade, and I couldn't say no.

Thank you for the ask! I know this probably doesn't help too much but I'm so glad you enjoy my stuff <3

mr stronghart do you think madame tusspells effectively utilized girl power when she committed the crime of graverobbing

An utterly ridiculous question. Your inane drivel would be entertaining if it were not so infuriating. I am unsure where you got your facts from, but I am afraid you've gotten the facts all wrong.

She was not grave robbing. She was committing a crime, in collusion with the prison connected to that graveyard, but her crime was not grave robbing. It could more accurately be described as desecration of a grave, as she was not stealing anything more than an artistic impression.

It could also be easily considered trespassing, though that is complicated by the fact that the prison staff were well aware of what it was that she was doing. Her infuriating actions certainly complicated quite a bit of things.

*another letter was left in Strongharts cell along with a small carved unicorn*

Dear Mr. Stronghart,

I am glad that you like the carved bird so I left you another gift! As for your question though, yes I am Barok's half younger brother.

Sincerely,

T.V.Z

To T.V.Z.,

I am fascinated by everything you have provided me with. I am a fan of the mythical unicorn, one of the symbols of our empire. Elusive, powerful, untameable. Much like the late Lord van Zieks.

I refer, of course, not to Klimt, but of your presumed father. I understand he was perceived to be quite the tomcat by those in his social circles, but I find it hard to believe that he would be able to hide such horrific promiscuity, adultery, and stupidity from the public for so long. How could it be that we have taken so long to learn of your existence, young van Zieks? Does Barok know about you? Do you truly use the van Zieks last name? It is brazenly foolish of you, if you wish your family to remain within any sort of social standing.

Had I known then that it was so easy to blackmail a family like yours, I would have done it long before Humphrey died.

Signed, Mael Stronghart.

Prosecutor Asogi, how have you been holding up since Van Zieks' trial? And if it's not too personal, how much of your memories have you recovered?

Anon.

The trial was not easy. I doubt you would be surprised by such a thing, but it turned the beliefs of my life upside-down. I had to spend weeks questioning things I had believed for years. I needed to be alone during that time.

Prosecutor Asogi, How Have You Been Holding Up Since Van Zieks' Trial? And If It's Not Too Personal,

Lestrade, on the other hand, needed to be in good company. She convinced me to visit the Holmes household more often than I would have liked, and, I must admit, it was more fun than I had expected it to be. I know Mikotoba-sama often spoke highly of the fun he had in London, and I can understand why. There is never a dull day on Baker Street. Somehow, some weeks ago, that heinous detective managed to convince me to move in. I... have enjoyed my stay.

Prosecutor Asogi, How Have You Been Holding Up Since Van Zieks' Trial? And If It's Not Too Personal,

It is difficult to remember what you... cannot remember. How am I to recall what memories I've lost if I have lost them? I believe I remember most of everything, but even before my injuries I had trouble with my memories. I lost focus during conversations and seemed to wake up minutes later, or would feel as though I were a bystander to a conversation I was participating in.

Prosecutor Asogi, How Have You Been Holding Up Since Van Zieks' Trial? And If It's Not Too Personal,

I think... I hope. That I have recalled everything important. I remember flashes of my childhood and my father, but not much. I remember growing up in the Mikotoba house, I remember meeting my good friend Naruhodou, but... there is much that I cannot recall. It is impossible to tell what of that is from my fateful trip on that boat and what is natural loss over time.

Mod Post: Queue!

As of now, we have ten posts in the queue! It's very exciting, both the amount of asks and the amount of followers we've gotten. Keep the questions coming!

Also, not to ~ spoil ~ one of the upcoming answers, but I do need to give credit to this post somewhere, and I feel like this is the best opportunity.

to Benjamin- you sound very fond of Barok. What made you want to get back in contact with him after ten years?

Dear Uniquartz,

To Benjamin- You Sound Very Fond Of Barok. What Made You Want To Get Back In Contact With Him After Ten

You are quite the astute observer! I am rather fond of Barok... The two of us were very close friends in our years at university. He is the closest friend I've ever had! One of the only friends I've ever had...

To Benjamin- You Sound Very Fond Of Barok. What Made You Want To Get Back In Contact With Him After Ten

Oh, my... I can think of only three friends... well, that is to say, three human friends... that I have ever had. That is rather worrying. Perhaps I should get out more. (Not to mention one of those friends tried to ruin my dreams...)

To Benjamin- You Sound Very Fond Of Barok. What Made You Want To Get Back In Contact With Him After Ten

That being said, I had missed him greatly. He invited me to visit him in his home and I could not turn down such an offer. I have struggled with money in the past, and he is helping me to save my pennies. As I said, he is a very, very kind man. I care deeply for him.

Best, Benjamin Dobinbough

To odie ASSman,

Did you ever realize the man you hired for your last great deception was someone whose life you ruined years ago?

Btw why did you decide to publish his name back then?

And lastly... How is hell for you? 🤭

RIP Bozo you won't be missed,

Anon

To anon:

I do not appreciate your poking fun at my name. It is something I have heard a great deal of times, so if you could try and come up with something a tad more colorful, I would much appreciate it.

I did not realize that he was someone whose life I had ruined. I tell the news, the truth, in any way that I can. The fallout from such actions are not my concern. I published his name because I did not see any reason not to, as people may question the veracity of the account if I did not state my source.

Hell is hell. And I'll see you there. Odie Asman

Dear sister,

Who is the man living in our house? The tall one with the white hair. Why is he here? Did you allow him into the home… on purpose?

-Barok

[modverse]

Dear Barok,

I have grown rather fond of the strange man living in your house. He is so very fun to watch! He sits upon any surface open to him, crawling inside of cabinets, bathtubs, closets, fireplaces... He reminds me of a feral cat in a very charming way.

As for who let him in, it was actually you! Benjamin asked you if he could have a friend visit, and that person just so happened to be Enoch. It seems you may be stuck with him, as he appears to be rather happy there.

Best of luck!! Rosie
