It’s been a long time, hasn’t it?

A lot has happened since I last made a photodump/life update diary entry here, for instance, I dropped out of college.

I dropped out because I realized academics were not for me, I’m still getting a degree, just needed to clear my head, find something I wanted to do, something I saw myself in.

My substack is growing and I’m happy with it, it feels surreal when people enjoy my writing.

I’m reading lunar park by Bret Easton Ellis and I have so many thoughts about it but most of them are not nice, which sucks because he used to be (still is) my favorite author.

I’m painting and drawing again, I painted the pic in the middle.

I began writing a screenplay for a slasher film, something fun and dynamic and stupid and very campy 90s.

I’m confused about a lot of things, I don’t really know what they are.

Okay, long time no see!! I’ve been way more active writing fics on my side blog.

Life has been good lately, It’s spring and I’m back on the dating scene, let me tell you how that’s going.

I went out with my friends a couple weeks ago and met a really cute french man on the smoking outside a bar. We talked and he came to the club with us, he was so sweet and smart, made my friends feel included in the conversation and stuff.

We kissed and he gave me his number when he walked us to the train station; we’ve been texting.

Is this a safe space to say he’s 40?

Anyway, I went on a date on friday with a guy I met on hinge, he’s 21. He’s an engineer and pretty cute, but I don’t know if I like him too much.

Apart from that, my creative writing classes are going so well, the teacher praises my work a lot, I love it.

I’ve got an essay coming up soon on a lit mag on Substack, will share it when it’s out.

Last week I saw my best friend’s musical, she was Tanya in mamma mia. It was wonderful, I love her so much.

the vibe this summer is looking like you’re a girl in a japanese survival horror game

I start pre evaluation exams on Monday, the first exam I have is art history, on ancient Greek and Roman art. I like the subject but I hate the people in my class and the professor doesn't teach really well.

I think I am coming down with a cold, I read half a book yesterday while I was laying in bed feeling a little bit sick.

Anyways, Love u so much. Do not forget to study, but also: do not forget to drink water, eat pastries, take long walks, watch TV, read cool books.

How did your first day go?

Omg, quite well, actually! I mean I'm having trouble with the whole meeting people thing, but I'm already in my class's groupchat, so that's good. I was a bit lonely, but nothing I couldn't take. The humanities faculty building is beautiful, but the classes are old and kind of uncomfortable. Thanks for asking!! 🫶🏻
