The entire house was decorated, inside and out. You couldn’t help it, the store was having a sale, you had today completely free and by yourself, and you were planning on throwing a Halloween party. It was practically calling your name sweetly and seductively. But when Yoongi returned home, he just seemed annoyed.

“Where did all of this come from?” he questioned tiredly, the first thing out of his mouth when he walked in the door. His hand went up to rub his forehead.

“The store,” you responded meekly. “I wanted to decorate to get the house in the mood and to prepare for the party.”

“Y/N, the party isn’t for another 2 weeks,” he stated dryly, not looking at you. “Why are you so obsessed with Halloween?”

“I… I don’t know,” you whispered, hanging your head and feeling crestfallen. You spend hours decorating the house happily, but now Yoongi’s disappointment and annoyance made you feel like you had painted the walls a tasteless colour and gotten paint over all the furniture. “I’m sorry, I’ll take it down.”

With that you walked out of the living room, going to dejectedly remove the decorations from the dining room first. You looked around at your hard work and felt tears fill your eyes, but you quickly blinked them away, feeling silly. “Y/N?” Yoongi’s voice called softly from the doorway. “Baby, come here.”

“Don’t worry,” you replied quietly, reaching to grab the large, fake spider from the middle of the table. “I’m taking everything down.”

He softly stepped towards you, pulling your arm back from the table and wrapping his arms around you from behind. “You don’t have to,” he whispered, placing gentle kisses along the back and side of your head. “I’m sorry, I’m just not much of a Halloween person. I know you love the holiday though and I shouldn’t be so rude about it.”

“No, it’s okay,” you whispered, still feeling small. “I… I don’t want to be an annoyance to you.”

At that, he spun you around quickly, looking at you with wide and worried eyes. “Y/N, don’t you dare ever think that you’re an annoyance to me.” You went to speak again, to protest, but he quieted you with a quick kiss. “No,” he stated, firmly. “You are the most important person in my life. I love you more than anything. You doing something you enjoy will never be an annoyance to me because you are not an annoyance to me. Please never think that. I’m sorry that I said it how I did, but you don’t annoy me and your mannerisms don’t annoy me. Ever. Okay?”

“Okay,” you whispered, bowing your head. “I’m sorry for over reacting.”

“Don’t be,” he replied back in a whisper. He softly lifted your head so he could look you in the eyes and he smiled. “I love you, okay?”

“I love you,” you whispered back. “So much.”

“Good.” With that, he kissed you swiftly and sweetly before moving back and grinning at you. Then, he attacked, kissing all over your face and making you giggle. It wasn’t rare for Yoongi to express his love for you loudly and clearly, but this made you feel butterflies and fireworks in your belly. It was a good feeling.

“I asked you last week to come over and hangout at my house but you said no. Plus, I’m busy these days. I’ll see you around kay?” You said walking away.

That night, Nari called to explain how pissed off Jay was.

“Y/N, he’s totally pissed, do you know what he said? Jesus. He said you’re a bitch for only using him as your boy toy and then ignoring him. Did you fuck him and not tell me!?” She gasped.

“Oh my god no! I almost did though…at your party.”

She yelped. “Almost!?”

“He didn’t want to…Nari, he outright rejected me, and when I invited him over last week, it was clear that he would never step into my house.”

“He’s the bitch! You gave him two shots and he’s that stupid?” Nari growled.

“It was only one shot and I was drunk so it’s no big deal, it’s better this way anyhow.” You concluded.

“I always knew you had a huge crush on him.” She stated.

“Okay first, no I didn’t. He was just a really hot friend that I started to like a little too much. Second, I think it’s better if I stay away from him.” You explained.

“That’s your choice I guess, but he’s really pissed. He’s even talking about you in school.” Nari said.

“If I hear him myself, I’ll tell Yoongi to kill him.”

“Speaking of Yoongi, I saw the way he was dragging you out the club the other day. It was a bit inappropriate for an employee…Is he your new boy toy?” She squealed annoyingly.

“He was just pretending to be my date, some old creep was trying to hit on me.” You explained.

She sighed. “I was hoping for something more juicy.”

“Keep dreaming.”
