Tgcf book 5 is so funny to me because everyone is like “we have to keep this on the down low, we can’t let the ghosts know there’s a heavenly official infiltrating Mount Tonglu” and then everyone and their mother shows up for one reason or another and everyone is just like “yeah, this is fine”

For the past two months I have been explaining the plot of TGCF (or as he calls it: "the gay man lore™") to a friend of mine. I have heavily condensed the plot and we are still not done. Though I would like to tell you all the alternate names he has come up with

Ban Yu = specific girl

Pei Lang = specific boy

Shi Qingxuan = Scott the woz

Shi‌ ‌Wudu‌ = don't lose your head wudu

I do actually believe Yin Yu is probably paid pretty well by Hua Cheng but I also believe that whatever he gets paid to deal with Simplord Hua Cheng will never be enough.

Ehh….well…..sometimes I get breaks but I don’t ever really use them to sleep….no need to worry about my health anyway…just a lack sleep at night….

well, from what I have seen, his son seems to be a good kid, but qi rong is not good at taking care of his “workers”(he is even worse the hua chengzhu….)

Is there any hope for a mortal with no cultivation to visit the Ghost City safely? If anyone would know how to do that it's you, right??

hmm….I do not believe it is the safest. I would not recommend it as ghosts can get aggressive and if you have no cultivation it can be very dangerous

Hmmm….probably the food stall near by the gamblers den, I go there when lord hua chengzhu lets me have short break.

In ghost city most of the tea is the same as in the human realm,

except the tea made from blood…

But as for my favorite type of tea, any type of tea with a lot of caffeine.
