The Elder Scrolls: Legends (This is not a Rip-Off of Hearthstone, really!)

Now after many years of playing the Elder Scrolls Skyrim and the many Fan-Made Mods for the game another entry into the mystical and adventurous world of Tamriel is on the Horizon.

Come to not explore the mysterious Black Marsh, home of the Argonians, or Elsewyr, home of the catlike Khajiit and nor to finally visit the Summerset Isles to fight directly against the hated Aldmeri Dominon.

 Instead we will play a Card game!

No, wait I mean:

Play a game which is probably not as good as Hearthstone or other card games of this kind but will have all the Characters, Spells and Locations on cards you loved in the Elder Scroll games but can’t encounter, use or visit in this game.

After the grandiose failure of “The Elder Scrolls: Online“ watch how Bethesda tries to copy Blizzard again and most likely fail another time with “The Elder Scrolls: Legends”.

Prepare yourself for disappointment (and be already disappointed for not getting “The Elder Scrolls VI”) in:

“The War Scrolls” would be an awesome title though.

I wonder what’s going to happen next. 

Level 60 Mage hell to the yes!  Won by defeating a Golden Rouge with Everyfin Is Awesome. 

Next order of business is to get Golden Mage, but that’s going to take a while.

I don't really play Hearthstone anymore, but I've always loved it for the different ways it portrays the World of Warcraft. I love Mean Streets of Gadgetzan so much that I wish it was a part of WoW (I'd love to make a Starcraft 2 mod inspired by it, but I'll talk about that later).

The most recent Hearthstone trailer had two great parts. The first is this Tortollan volcano city, which looks rad as hell and has a bunch of cute turtle people. The Tortollan are fine in WoW, but they look a lot livelier in their Hearthstone art.

Chromie pulling alternate-timeline versions of heroic characters has a vast amount of fan-theory potential. There were certain character skins in Heroes of the Storm that had different backstories, such as Thrall's "Ashwolf Chieftain" story. From what we saw in the trailer of pre-banshee Sylvanas and Lo'Gosh Varian, I'm certain they won't take that particularly wild direction, but who knows? There may be a mighty surprise.
