another preset wooo, i am obssesed with this one bc its so soft and warm. especially since fall is near i wanted to me a preset that would make your game feel cozy. this preset is intended for gameplay and screenshots!

this preset was made using gshade so i am unsure if it would work with reshade.

anything not mentioned in these videos i unfortunately can’t help with but this video shows how to install gshade + presets!

IMPORTANT: i use lighting mods/terrain overrides in my game. without those there is a chance your game may look different then mine. i will link all lighting mods/terrain overrides below.

when you startup your game the startup preset is the one i use for gameplay. if you would rather play without mxao or if you want to take a screenshot with a nice blurred background you can toggle those using the keys below!

toggle keys: mxao 4.0.2 off/on (shift + 2)

gaussian blur, magic bloom, cinematic dof on/off (shift + 4)

this file goes into your C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\shade-presets\custom

reading animation override 2.0

download on patreon (early access) (public release - 09/05/24) I managed to make reading animation override 2.0, with different poses for different genders and places!

standard version with 8 reading poses

extended version with 10 reading poses

also, all the bugs from previous overrides have been fixed, no one will fall into a bar stool anymore and sims will be able to read on a rocking chair with normal animation, etc.

phone call animations override

this mod replaces the animations for phone calls, adding four new poses, with different ones for each gender.

age groups: teenagers to elders.

included poses:

sitting on dining or desk chairs

sitting on sofas or living chairs

animations on all other surfaces will remain as they are.

all transitions are smooth! you might notice slight clipping at the start or end of the animations, but it shouldn't affect gameplay.

also you should know:

if your sim is pregnant, the animation might not look good with the belly. unfortunately, i don’t know how to fix it in this mod, but i hope it won’t bother you too much.

i did not modify the animation for "video calls".

if you have the "cupid's heart" expansion pack, the "flirt" action on the phone will also use the new poses.

p.s. i made this override as an addition to my previous mod, "extended phone calls", after my sims started calling everyone 24/7, i thought they should do it in a cuter way! :)
