it’s so funny when people online act like women reading trashy romance novels is like. a new phenomenon and a sign of the downfall of society bc this has never been a thing before. this has been an extremely popular genre of book for ages. the only difference now is that they’re written by women who wanted to fuck kylo ren. which i guess is annoying. out of every man in star wars like be so serious. they had harrison ford in those movies
Being in a fandom for 20+ years is weird because you’ll see posts like, “How come I never see people mention x” and it’s like. We did. We talked about that a lot, actually. Actually it’s something that came up. And it’s hard not to be like, “Yeah, we discussed this fifteen years ago.” Half of this fandom wasn’t even born when these discussions happened. Wild.
I love that I discovered fandom at my age (68). I’m retired after 40+ years of working full time. My kids are grown and my grandkids are young adults. I finally have the time to follow interesting people on sites like this, who broaden my perspectives and stimulate thought. I’ve immersed myself into the world of fan fiction where I’ve discovered extraordinary authors who so generously share their talent and creativity. This is truly a rich and delightful time in my life. I’m so grateful for Good Omens, the show that introduced me to this fandom that means so much to me.

MY personal AU version of a secondary Dark future… in which Shego does as Supreme Shego has but Drakken instead of working for her… uses the same method to play to take over… which means spending a decade in a sort of rivalry where she owns half and he owns the other…. sabotaging and calculating against each other since Kim and Ron are not a factor… eventually they agree to rule together…. if only to avoid admitting neither can live without the other.
