Hello!! Look at this dog!!

This animation is based on a bunch of animators that I looked into, from Yoji Kuri to Norman McLaren! I was interested in the freeing movement that came with a lot of their works, so I went into this little project with less planning than I normally would. There's also a list of all the creators I looked into for this mini project, branching out from my main inspiration, Georges Schwizgebel. It was very freeing and exciting to just go all in without as much meticulous planning, so I'm definitely going to further explore this method! :^)

shoutout to anthropomorphic snakes in animated movies doing poses that would normally require arms by creatively using their coils as arms instead. gotta be one of my favorite genders

Here are my other three ideas for my Junior studio film! Essentially, this animation will act as a way for me to study the movement of deep sea creatures and explore world building. I want to take these animals and place them in the setting of space, using the theory of deep sea gigantism to make some weird sci fi stuff.

The first image is the Anglerfish, then the Spiral Siphonophore, and finally the Deepstaria Jellyfish. They are simply hanging out! simply slaying idk what to tell you.

reading about internships and jobs in the animation industry while experiencing almost every kind of pain my body could throw at me was something thats for sure!

in all honesty i do Not think i processed any of it so later when I'm in less pain im going to read it again to actually absorb information this time but seeing everything clearly broken down and explained in a conversational tone made it seem much much more approachable and do able for me :D

THIS ANIMATION THO. it isnt anything special but i used tvpaint!!!!! and i am IN LOVE with tvpaint i want its hand in marriage im so serious its a Delight to work in and i was having so much fun!!! its perfect for my film Aphantasia with all the texture and rrgrggrgrgrgrgr im so excited to animate !!!!!
