It was just another day in the bustling city, and yn and Beomgyu found solace in the routine of their shared walks. The cold air nipped at their noses, but the warmth of their clasped hands kept the winter chill at bay. As they strolled through the usually crowded streets, the city seemed to fade into the background, leaving just the two of them in their own little world.

Meetnyc²ouples: excuse me!..hello? [admin asks noticing a pair’s linked hands] are you two a couple?

Beomgyu: yeah? What [he asks skeptical, his hand never leaving yn’s]

Meetnyc²ouples: are you two a couple?

Beomgyu: yeah why? [he says getting a bit defensive]

Meetnyc²ouples: oh, would you mind telling the quick story of how you two met?

Beomgyu: oh wow! Of course! [he chimed suddenly all sunshine and rainbows then looked back at his partner silently seeking their approval]

Beomgyu: you go for it!

Yn: uh,, we met on a blind date actually, my friend and his friend decided to pit us together and it started from there, The first date was a disaster by the way, he planned to meet at a cheesecake factory?! I mean who does that- like what if I was lactose intolerant? [they comment jokingly]

Beomgyu: hey! I thought it was a very cute little date [Beomgyu pouts trying to pull his hand away]

Meetnyc²ouples: if your first date went a little off track, how’d you two end up together?

Beomgyu: oh yeah, we didn’t talk to each ither for a month after and by that time, our friends gave up on us but ,, it was my final year maybe? [he asks unsure, seeking help from his over]

Yn: yeah, he was in his final year and I was in junior maybe,, he needed a photographer for his thesis project and bugged me for two (2) weeks straight until I gave in, then using his thesis as an excuse, we started to hang out very often.

Beomgyu: also, we didn’t start dating until like what? I graduated? Yeah, and then I was the one who ultimately asked the big question. [he said accusing yn]

Yn: I was going to ask him but he beat me to it, I’ll make sure I’ll be the one to propose first (propose as in engagement in case it is difficult to understand!!) [yn muttered as Beomgyu got shy, crimson enveloping his cheeks and ears]

Yn: awh,, is my baby all shy? [yn coo-ed at their boyfriend who immediately hid away in yn’s embrace]

Meetnyc2ouples: how long have you two been dating?

Yn: eleven and..? [yn trailed off not sure, seeking help from beomgyu]

Beomgyu: and a half [he completes,, way more composed than before]

Yn: right! Eleven and a half, going strong!

Meetnyc²ouples: can I ask what is your favorite thing about each other?

Beomgyu: this is gonna sound real cliché but I think they just get me way better than anyone else I’ve ever met. I mean they truly feel like my soulmate, my best friend, life partner I mean- yeah,, I don’t know how I lived all these years without them honestly [beomgyu’s gaze is overflowing with love as he answers never looking away from yn, while yn looks away from him ears burning]

Yn: my favorite thing about Beomgyu would be his silly little text messages that I used to- and still receive, I think that laid the foundation for our relationship,, although I cant leave out the cheesy pickup lines he still uses.

Meetnyc²ouples: adorable,, what’s your favorite thing to do together?

Yn: probably exactly what you just saw us doing, since we both work and have tight schedules, we try to find time for each other and that, more often than not results in just us walking around the city, exploring new spots, new people,, uh, yeah, I just love the quality time.

Meetnyc²ouples: oh, and before we leave, what are your names?

Beomgyu: they're yn and im Beomgyu

,,beomgyu witnesses and angry confession, it's up to him what happens next

,,haha, angst (kinda), TXT fic after such a long time, fluff, happy ending, sorta crack?

"It's disgusting how much you invade my mind," they spat out. Beomgyu’s usual teasing grin fell as he looked at their serious and angry face. they huffed, looking away, not daring to stare into his eyes.

"It's like you can't let me live in peace! Every corner of my mind is filled by you and I hate it more that I just can't seem to stop it!" their voice cracked as they confessed to him. they stared into his eyes, now feeling a bit braver. y/n's burning rage was against his cold and icy stare.

"Even now," they scoffed, staring at his unreadable eyes. they just can't seem to understand him or his feelings while they were so readable to him, so vulnerable to him. they hated that fact alone. "Even-... Even now you don't seem to care nor mind about what I've just said!"

Yes. It was humiliating, crying over a guy who would only tease them and push all their buttons to the point they'd explode. It was so embarrassing that they were showing their vulnerable state just for him to stare blankly at them like this. Most of all... they hated themself for even thinking he would have some sort of reaction.

"I- I hate you so much to the point of disgust,"

they took a final glance at his dumb face and then turned around, wiping the tears away. This will be the last time they'll let him walk all over them. This will be the last time they'd let themself think about him. What were they expecting? A pull back to his arms? A romantic scene where he'd confess his feelings as well? That only happens in fiction. Reality is often disappointing.

"I-... Idiot! Come back!" He shouted, running to yn. they spun their heel, seeing that stupid face of his coming closer. they almost wanted to laugh, he never liked running. "How..." yn’s smile dropped, seeing his stance, "Dare," eyes widened, trying to run away, "You!" But they were just a second short.

He tackled them to the ground.

"Agh! That hurts you bitc!-"

"If you hate me, I hate you more! How dare you say those things and think I'd be able to take it all in!?" He shouted, his eyes flared in anger. It was one of those rare rages they had only ever seen once or twice. they gulped, letting him just ramble on. "It's disgusting to you!? Every day to every hour to every second I think of you!" He took a deep breath.

"And I quite enjoy that, okay!? I like thinking about you! I like it so much that I-..." He stopped his words. The two of them sat in front of each other, both unable to speak words.

"Y-You understand, right? What I feel..." He swallowed his saliva. For the first time in their life, they saw his flustered face.

"Only if you say it," they huffed. He opened his mouth, speechless.

"What? No way, you say it first," He insisted. they frowned, shaking their head.

"I initiated this conversation, you should end it nicely!" they reasoned out but he wasn't having any of it.

"Actually you ended it just now, I started this conversation!" He fired back. The two stared at each other before sighing. Silence filled the air as they just stared at each other. He fiddled with his hands while they played with a few strands of their hair.

Maybe they just don't need words. Maybe he could just tug on their hand while they leaned closer. Maybe he just had to glance at their lips to signal to them and maybe they would just have to nod in agreement.

And they kissed without needing words or their endless bickering. They just needed him.

He will be so soft and sweet to you, the man’s just happy to spend time with you

Sometimes while training together, he’d purposely let you win so can watch to celebrate.

When he does something a bit flirty, you’re dumbfounded- ears red eyes unable to meet his.

Though he isn’t the best person around to have in the kitchen, he makes an effort to learn how to cook your favourite dish.

A particularly strong hit from you caught Xavier off guard. He stumbled backwards, feigning a loss of balance, and fell to the floor with a dramatic thud. Concern immediately washed over your face as you rushed forward, your weapon forgotten, to check on your fallen comrade.

"Xavier! Are you alright? I should have been more careful," you said, worry etched across your features as you held him still.

Xavier lay there, seemingly dazed, looking up at you with a mysterious glint in his eyes. A whisper echoed through, "Woah... you look pretty from here."

Your concern shifted to confusion, and you tilted your head, trying to make sense of his words. "Hm? You said something? But I can't believe I was able to defeat one of the top-performing hunters today!" you exclaimed, once you registered the accomplishment, your attention torn between victory and the well-being of your sparring partner.

"Congrats on the win, you did great," Xavier replied, his hands reaching up to gently cup your face. The touch was unexpected, and you blushed slightly at the unexpected closeness. His eyes sparkled with a mixture of admiration and devotion.

Zayne

Zayne, although busy throughout the day, would set aside time for you to spend it with you even when you insist on him utilizing it to rest

His type of love would be acts of service and gift giving, getting you small things

Dr. Zayne peered over the rim of his glasses, his expression a mix of concern and amusement. The soft hum of medical equipment echoed in the small examination room, creating an oddly serene backdrop to the unfolding conversation.

"Your heart's racing again," he remarked, the corner of his lips lifting in a half-smile. "May I ask why?"

"Really? I don't know, Dr. Zayne. This happens every time I'm near you. Do you think this is some kind of allergy?" you ask genuinely worried.

Laughter almost spills from his lips at the question, “I don’t think that is medically possible, perhaps this is because of some different matters..” zayne trails off, eyes hinting at something you aren’t sure of.

While you are left confused- oblivious even to his intentions!

This man will not stop pestering you, constantly throwing flirty lines at you even when you shoot him down again and again :(

Unlike the other two, immediately after he recognizes his own feelings, he’s all over you

Although when the topic of actually confessing comes up, he’s all shy and red in the face, and when you misunderstand his confession- he gets all pouty not talking to you for days

“y/nn!” he whines over the phone, “I need you here right now! You’re my bodyguard, right?! There’s this hideous bug near my canvas, please come quick,” he hurriedly says cutting of the call before you can even reply.

You roll your eyes as you hear his dramatic plea through the phone. It's not the first time he's called you for something trivial. Sighing, you decide to play along with his antics and head to his house.

When you arrive, you find him standing on a chair, gesturing wildly at the bug near his canvas. "Y/nn, thank goodness you're here! This bug is a threat to my masterpiece! Can you please get rid of it?" he says, looking genuinely distressed.

You can't help but chuckle at his exaggerated reaction. "Alright, alright, calm down. It's just a bug," you reassure him. You take a step forward and swat the bug away, making sure to make a show of it. "There, problem solved. Your masterpiece is safe," you tease.

He looks at you with wide eyes, a mix of relief and admiration in them. "You're my hero, y/nn! Always coming to my rescue," he says, a mysterious glint in his eyes. As you share a laugh, you notice a hint of vulnerability in his expression.

"You know," he starts, scratching the back of his head nervously, "I... um, appreciate you being around. More than just for bug emergencies, I mean." He glances away, his cheeks turning a shade of pink.

He hesitates and finally blurts out, "I like having you around, y/nn. More than just for emergencies." You raise an eyebrow, not fully grasping the weight of his words.

“I mean, I hope you do,” you start, giving him a small smile. Upon hearing your words, he’s not talking to you for the rest of the week, while you wonder if you had said something wrong.

Sorry you had to wait this late but I was busy with moving into uni and lyf happened, although be ready to be fed more often now!!
