I finally finished reading this biography and I have to tell you, while it doesn’t make me admire or love him any less, it made me sad and furious. Actually, it broke my heart. According to this bio, he was a self-destructive time bomb. He consistently did everything he could to undo any progress that had been made to improve his physical and mental well-being. Obviously, there were people in his life, leeches, that liked it that way. They gave him what he wanted so they could, in turn, get what they wanted. Ginger…never wanted him. She and her family were there for money. Disgusting.

Dr. Nic was likely one of the people that kept him alive until he was 42, yet he was the doctor that was implicated in causing his demise.

He did a lot of things wrong, but he must have done a lot more things right. If this were not true, we would not still be listening to his music, watching his movies, and talking about him. He is a legend that left many stories across the music and film industry. He is truly a cultural icon.
