Warning: Incoming Rant

Just need to get this off my chest. The internet has become a platform for people to put their stupidity on display and its annoying.

Back in August of last year at the SDCC, the internet went into an uproar about Pedro holding Vanessa Kirby's hand on stage to help ease his anxiety. Comments were made about him being a "creep", using his anxiety as an excuse to touch her, etc.

Now, after the SNL 50th Anniversary show, people are saying Pedro and Sabrina Carpenter would make a cute couple.

How is it ok for people to call him a creep for being affectionate with a costar/close friend close to his age, and then turn around and say he should hook up with a costar young enough to be his daughter?

Most of these comments are on TikTok, in case you're wondering.

Double standards are gross. Do better, internet.

Please distract me so I'm not tempted to look at the dumpsterfire of a website known as Facebook.

The Pedro hate is insane on that shitbox of a website. Already having a bad night, don't need to read that shit.

People saying he's "creepy", that he's "probably on drugs" because he's lost weight for F4, that he's "in everything", someone even said he's an "illegal alien and should go back to Chile". He's lived in America since he was 9 months old ffs.

I'm just done with it all. I know I shouldn't let it bother me, but it does. Pedro is the kindest, sweetest soul on the planet and he does not deserve to be hated on like that. Go hate on someone who deserves it. I can name several.
