I’ve seen a lot of posts where there is unhinged science teacher Danny and people compare him to Ms. Frizzle.
But what if it can actually happen?
Like Fenton-Tech is weird enough and Danny (as Ghost King) would have access to all the tech and magic across all dimensions. Not to mention he has a good relationship with someone who is essentially the Lord of Time.
So imagine Gotham Academy Teacher Danny who believes in practical experience and/or first-hand experience.
Mix in a bit of Fenton-tech here, a bit of time magic there and you have a class full of high schoolers who have witnessed things.
It’s a toss up whether people believe them or not because thanks to Clockwork, no time has actually passed when they left.
wake up!!

A Death in the Family AU part 1
"The Origin of Redwing"
What if (AU)...
What if Bruce and Dick weren't entirely at odds? What if Dick accompanied Bruce to the East? And what if Dick died instead of Jason?
Jason's body jerked on reflex when he felt someone grab his hand. Unable to pull away he swiftly looked down to face his assailant. The curses he was going to yell died on his tongue when he saw a little kid trying to pull him somewhere by his arm.
Dumbfounded, he asked, "What are you doing?"
"I'm kidnapping you!" The kid growled, feet skidding on the ground where his ratty sneakers couldn't gain enough traction to help the poor kid. "How are you so heavy?!"
Jason, in all his 6ft and 200+ pound glory, just stared at the kid whose hands were too small to even cover one of his, what was he? Five? Jason lifted his arm taking the kid up with it. The kid looked so shocked by this and Jason took the opportunity to start asking questions, "So what did you wanna kidnap me for?"
Snapping out of his shock the kid replied with, "You are very dad shaped."
"What."
The kid seemed to realize what he said and backtracked a bit, "I don't need you to be my dad-dad just my fake dad."
That clarified things a little, "Why do you need a fake dad?"
"To avoid the foster system! I heard Gothams is really really bad and I've been living just fine on my own!" on his own?! A kid this small?! "But im pretty sure someone called the child cops or something cause people in suits keep trying to catch me or talk to me."
Aka Danny finds out hes a clone and is deaged to his actual age and is roaming around Gotham in the DC universe as a homeless farel child who keeps doing deranged things.
Protector of the Arachno-Humanoid Poly-Multiverse vs. the Daddest Dad to ever Dad. (Having one meaningful conversation with Jeff would probably kill him irl.)
Demon's twin au, except....
A Demon's twin au where Danny and Damian are polar opposites of each other as usual. Damian is the serious and pokey one while Danny is the laid back, carefree twin. Except, Danny is 10x more psychotic than Dami, and his demeanor is somewhat a manipulation tactic. He's still loves Dami vv much and would gladly burn the world for him while Dami is....hm. He envies Danny but in the same time very intimidated by him (read: black cat & golden retriever situation)
One day he gets killed by Damian (may it be a duel that he didn't think seriously because he thought Dami would never kill him or Dami just flat out conspiring against him is your choice) and Danny was FURIOUS at him. Instead, he swore Damian would pay the price for betraying him.
Fast forward after he got resurrected and lived as Danny, he's soften up a bit; more talking and less stabbing, basically. One thing leads to another where he leaves and ends up in Gotham (preferably because of CW) and hey, what dya know. Dami's siblings aren't that bad...
Meanwhile Batfam™ are scrambling because there's a teenager that looks like Damian wandering over Gotham. Damian is perplexed because that could be his supposedly dead brother (eye color).
Everything went wrong when Danny straight up jumped at Damian in costume, trying to kill him.
Jason is in civilian clothing absolutely plastered at a Crime Alley bar when Joker breaks out of Arkham, and while still drunk he abruptly decides he’s sick of all this dramatic bullshit and just. kills the Joker. tracks him down, kills him without any fanfare, and ditches. it was executed flawlessly, incredible really considering his intoxication levels at the time. he only slipped up a teeny-tiny amount.
because he got seen leaving the murder scene. in civilian clothing. and then got caught once more via a security camera as he was disappearing back into Crime Alley. and the bats fucking saw that footage.
Bruce Wayne, an emotional wreck, just found out that Jason is alive, apparently just murdered the Joker, and is now living alone in Crime Alley (and who knows in what conditions?! he’s legally dead, there’s no legal way for him to make money, his poor son might be homeless.) and for some reason he isn’t coming home. Bruce is in despair, getting worse the longer they can’t track Jason down. finally, at his wits end, he decides to ask the help of the one other vigilante figure that seems to know Crime Alley better than the bats, and that might have some less-savoury contacts that could be of better help tracking down a legally dead boy.
the Red Hood, struggling not to laugh hysterically in Batman’s face, has never been more excited to accept a job in his LIFE. he has no plans on how he’s going to fuck with Bruce just yet, but by god is he going to do something.
[From The Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #220]
Never forget that time Marc tried to invite Spider-Man out on a fancy date after they busted a crime ring and then was crushed that he got turned down.
Amnesiac Danny is wondering around the streets of Gotham and when Bruce comes across him, he thinks it's Jason; first as a hallucination and then after he manages to touch him, as some trick someone was trying to pull on him. Except… Danny even has the right clothes on! All muddy and dirty… Alas, when they check Jason's grave, there isn't anyone inside, leaving them with the wrong conclusion that Danny/Jason must have broken out of his grave.
DNA analysis is inconclusive. Every sample comes back as corrupted. Danny and Jason DO look the same and the similarities are convincingly enough to fool Alfred as well. Dick wasn't around too much, so at this point he also thinks Danny could be Jason.
Could, but the situation is… odd. Everyone is left standing wrong-footed. This Jason has no answers and all they have are a bunch of… hypothesis that they cannot test.
Even so, Bruce cannot help himself and tries to make Danny "remember". Eventually this leads to Danny thinking of himself as Jason, pointedly not thinking about how some things don't add up after he starts living in Wayne Manor.
And then enters Tim Drake, whose first act after being introduced is to say that Danny is a fake.
Halloween prompt no. 31 (part 6)
Gotham Knights au where the bats crash at a safe house and hear noises coming from the cabinet above the stove. Sneaking up to it they fling it open to find a very startled child around 4 or 5 years of age eating cereal out of the box.
Dick recovered first,"So uh, whatcha doin' there?"
The kid hugged the box to his chest, almost as if he was afraid they'd take it away from him before giving a muttered, "...nothing..."
Tim got between Jason and the kid, blocking the view of the larger man and giving him the chance to put away the gun he had drawn without the kid noticing it. "Dont worry kid." He said softly, "We won't take it away. You must have been pretty hungry, huh? Is that why you broke in?"
"Kinda?"
It was Jason's turn to ask a question, "Well why are you in there then?"
"I wanted to see my daddy."
The three looked at eachother before Dick, barely holding back laughter asked, "Who's your daddy?"
The kid didn't think twice before pointing at Tim, "I'm Danny and I'm your clone!" Tim bluescreened in response.
