The last time they met before MC's disappearance, they promised to come back for E. once they were done with their mission, however they failed and lost all their memories including those with E. E. has been waiting for the past 3 years for MC, and now that you're back, they won't let you go. And they won't forgive those who harmed you either, even if it means going against the entire Hightable and the world at that.

Tbh of all the given RO's, including Nikita, Leo, and G., E. is only one who truly loves and appreciates MC for the way they are, rather than seeing them as a possession or plaything for the sake of entertainment.

And he quite possibly played a big role in that. That's all I can tell you for now, but until you completely know his intentions, Nikita will continue to make you anxious with his sardonic smiles and secret riddles :)
