The country was divided into four separate kingdoms, whose names were correlated with the four cardinal directions.
The Northern Kingdom had the most desirable and admirable land out of all the kingdoms. The location was prime. There were a series of mountains that stretched across the western part of the kingdom, which was a good defense mechanism against the notorious barbaric westerners. There were three major rivers that streamed through the land, providing cool and rich soil for the farmers in the area.
The northerners were able to trade with the other kingdoms, specifically the Eastern and Southern Kingdoms. They liked to trade wheat and silk with the easterners. They would trade wood, leather, and spices to the kingdom in the south. They didn’t really trade with the westerners, but if they did, they would mainly trade them fish and rich furs.
The Northern Kingdom also had an excellent military force. The Northern Army could possibly match the Western Army. There were thousands of soldiers guarding the border in the west. There were plenty of soldiers stationed at the palace, who were ordered to protect the current monarch. The rest of the soldiers were situated in the various towns, whose duty was to protect the ones who couldn’t protect themselves.
The King of the North was a strict and stern business man. He was known for trading goods and services to the lesser kingdoms in his general vicinity, in exchange for portions of their land. He was liked by his people. He also had four sons of his own. He would later pass the mantle to his eldest son, but he didn’t know if he was really ready for the task and duty of becoming king. The Northern Kingdom was currently living in the golden age of its time.
The Southern Kingdom was mostly known as the fishing industry. They were the only kingdom that was connected to a large body of water. They didn’t have very good soil for planting or farming. Instead, the southerners would send ships to other kingdoms so that they might be able to trade with them.
The King of the South wasn’t the most ideal monarch. He would rather spend his days drinking and gambling instead of helping his kingdom flourish through trade. He had many illegitimate children with various women, none of which would receive the title of ‘king.’
His advisors had greatly urged him to marry someone of status and wealth. He had taken their advise, settling down to marry a nasty woman just like him. Nevertheless, the Southern Kingdom was a decent place to live for most people. They did have a lot going for them.
The Eastern Kingdom was the most elegant and respectable kingdom out of all of them. The people were very smart and classic. The land had simply been an open country. The palace had architecture like no other in the district. The reigning monarch some three centuries earlier had shipped in an architect from an overseas district.
The palace was decorated with pure gold and white marble. The floors were made out of marble. The stair rails were ornate mahogany, carved and polished so that it shined. The family portraits were painted in oils and hung in gold frames. The furniture was all handmade by master craftsmen in the local village. The air was scented with fresh flowers every day of the year. The food was always perfect and served precisely on time. Each room was just as big as the next. And the rooms came equipped with an intercom system to call for service.
The Eastern Kingdom was very rich. There were a bunch of mountains behind them, which were mined on a daily basis. They would find solid diamonds and heavy lumps of gold. Most of the gold would be expertly fashioned into lightweight armor for the soldiers. They traded their goods specifically with the northerners, who found their diamonds very desirable. They would exchange their goods for silk.
The only downside of this kingdom could be found with the current monarch. The King of the East was a warm and gentle older man. His dear wife had passed away nearly eighteen years ago. He was left to raise his only daughter. She would become the very first female monarch in her kingdom. This was easily translated as a ‘weak point’ that could ultimately result in a takeover for the throne. The overthrow of the monarch meant that the land and the trade would be lost, granting full power to the kingdom that took over.
There were rumors and whispers that the Western Kingdom would be the one to ultimately take over the Eastern Kingdom. It was only a matter of time until the king was pronounced ‘dead.’ They would strike at the earliest convenience.
The Western Kingdom was known to be despised by all the other ones. The palace happened to be surrounded by an entire series of mountains. This made their land practically impossible to get to, whether that be for an attack or for trade. They were very protected. They were also able to harvest solid iron and silver to make suits of armor. They were growing in power and size.
The King of the West was a notoriously barbaric man. He was also greedy and selfish. He only ever sought out one thing in life, which was to reap war on the other kingdoms. He would be able to accomplish this very soon because his numbers were growing in the mountains. He was training his soldiers for battle, ordering new styles of armor to be made, and gathering his forces for a march. He wanted nothing more than to become the first king to govern the four lands. He would stop at nothing to accomplish that either.
Until one day, the King of the North would contact the King of the East with a business proposition that would prove to be beneficial to the both of them. They would conjoin their countries by arranging a marriage between their eldest children. There would be unity between them. That way, the two kingdoms could join together to defeat the harboring kingdom in the west. At this point, they didn’t really have any other option.

Theoretically, you are correct. She could help him overcome his fear, but I don’t think he wants her getting that close to him and in his mind😏
shading practice with hunter :D
i think i would fold if he looked at me like that
This genre of Freddy Carter smiling like a proud little kid after filming the most gut-wrenching scenes in the entire show.
Whatever you do, don’t think about how the last time they all saw each other (alive) was when they watched Kamino get destroyed
