im so tired of the "we shouldnt criticize andrew tate fans, they're kids they don't know any better 🥺" and framing these boys as victims meanwhile those boys are being misogynistic bullies to the girls in their classes.

Some children have started turning to charities for help. One girl, 13, said in a phone call to Childline: “All the boys in my class are so influenced by [Andrew Tate]. They’ve started picking on me and some of my friends because we are girls wanting to become things that ‘aren’t for women’. It’s made me feel like I’ll never get into my chosen field considering people like them will be in the future generation. I hate it so much but I know I can’t do anything to stop it.”

One teacher posted on TikTok about her male sixth grader fat-shaming a female classmate and telling her “she’s like every other girl in the world and that she uses men to get money, and at least he’s a hard-working man and that he works for his money.”

boys are coddled and treated like their beliefs and actions are harmless meanwhile girls' suffering is ignored. sure the boys are "just kids" but so are the girls.

imagine being a girl trying to learn in this sort of environment.

looking beyond andrew tate specifically, young men are more likely to feel threatened by feminism than older men. 50% of gen z men believe that feminism has gone 'too far'. there is an epidemic of misogyny among boys and young men.

Right, considering the current state of corporate politics on this site, and that it seems that only those affected seem to be actively speaking on the matter, this needs to be dragged out to a wider audience.

This extends to refusing to believe in bogus call-out posts for frankly minuscule thinks such as being horny or kinky, especially if the target is presenting in an ‘unconventional’ manner, (therians, etc.) this double standard where it is seen as ‘degenerate’ for transfemmes to merely exist in certain spaces, yet everyone else is fine to do so is disgusting and part of the reason for the backlash.
