... I've been hearing things about the content creators of twst getting unwarranted hate from this question alone, and it leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth every time. I'm a bit hesitant to answer this to be honest, but I am prepared to face the consequences of stating my honest opinion in regards to this topic.

I think it's fine for adults to write romance and smut fanfictions for twst because:

FICTION =/= REALITY.

Why should age matter? We're consumers, and twst is a product that is aimed towards us. The characters are designed to be appealing and come on they are just pixelated, jpeg/png files. They are not real people and the fan content we produce do not reflect us. It's all purely imagination.

There's a fine line that should be drawn between fiction and reality.

A simple recollection lost to the whispers and gossip, in fear or in awe younger him did not know. All ■■■■■ could muster from his memories was the face of his twin sister and mother's gentle love embracing him and praising him for his victory.

From his young pestering pleads, his mother sat him down and retold him the story of how he received these branching flowers on his entire body. His mother would always start the recollection with the same beginning, his sister listening quietly beside him. "It was created by your heart, determination to protect your other half."

For many years, since he was old to walk and fight, ■■■■■ had taken the role of Lady Yingyue's protector and carried the duty with pride. One could dare say in his sister's grace, he became her decoy to trick and teach those wanting manipulate her a lesson they would not forget.

It wasn't until the eve of their 13th birthday, the cycle of promised protection ended with the cruel torture and the lightning's blessing. The people he had sworn to fend off, instead took him all too happily for the taste of revenge on his soul. Laughed at his pain, mocked him for being weak, belittled him for his "cursed" bloodline.

And yet, the young ■■■■■ laughed as it were pure entertainment, promising he'll get to have fun with them eventually. Words had only left his mouth before the storm's judgement struck where he was ensnared, leaving its blossoms on his flesh and the promise in his hands.

What commenced when the lightning's spring came to bloom is often foretold in variations, but it always ended with him returning home covered in red and burns, holding so closely a electrifying jewel to his chest. Smiling proudly as if he climbed all the way to Celestia and back to his family's embrace victorious.

"You asked if I was proud of you that night, before falling unconscious." It was a rare moment to see his mother looking at him with genuine adoration, the suddened softening of her stern scowl. "I was and always will. That gift which burns so brightly in your hands speaks of your strength and love. Carry your flowers with pride, my little spider."

Often the storm of opinionated pity and disgust for his story is heard trailing after him, but ■■■■■ still dances in the weather by his sister's side without a care in the world, the refulgent vision and scars he carries an honest attestation of life. It is through this memory told by tale, adventures he ventures on be nothing more than the fruits of his labor made through enigmatic means and promises.

Bruit: One of Inazuma's most famous beauties on stage for his talent and grace. While he has a devout following of adoring fans and admirers, he'd much rather prefer the sighs of beloved secrecy.

• He is the third child and only son of a human and inugami, raised by his mother to be poised and decorous around people. His relationship with his family is relatively a sweet one as he often speaks of them fondly despite the usual teasing (insults) and small fighting that happens

• Described by many to be a captivating social butterfly in conversations and onstage, he is the complete opposite of Kosuke. Speaking is his best tool when he wants to get whatever he desires, whether to be pampered increasingly, or retrieve bits of information from a loose tongue. After all, he is an actor who entertains his audience in exchange for their adoration

• Although he is known for being a sociable person, he much rather prefer to keep to himself and talk casually with closed ones since his occupation is a tiring one to fulfill for long periods of time. He isn't exactly a loud person, but he does put aside the "Sakurasou's" voice for his own voice when conversing with family or friends. Those close to him describe the as a kind-hearted and honest man who's words come off as a harsh love.

• He's well-known for his beauty and natural talent on the stage as many would sing their praises about it continuously. Out of all the actors at Kanpeki Ukiyo Theatre, he has the most fans coming to meet and ask for his autographs backstage after a performance. (He's well-known for another thing - his alluring voice, but people who have heard it are shameful about it)

• Due to some rowdy admirers, he is well acquainted with the wandering man for hire, Mizushima Kosuke. In a way, one could say their partnership has developed into a very close knit friendship since the usual payment for a bodyguard has decreased. Some rumored its because they're newly found lovers, others believed the poor actor was blackmailed in a way, and a very few gossiped its because the ronin was offered a room with hot meals instead of mora and had accepted. Regardless of the reason, the two men trust each other full heartedly and will come to the other's aid if needed immediately.
