how i feel about fanservice when i’m the fan being serviced:
A single clear memory hit me: nothing special, just breakfast at Café 19 in Valhalla…
They speak of Roma Montagov and Juliette Cai as the ones who dared to dream. And for that, in a city consumed by nightmares, they were cut down without mercy.

Yuzuru Hanyu x birthday card meme
The celebration has begun! Here’s the first meme of the day: Yuzuru Hanyu x birthday card meme
I made this few months ago for this day (о´∀`о) now it’s time to post it (*^ω^*)
I’m doing a rewatch of Yuri on Ice, and now that my knowledge of skating has increased substantially, the way I’m watching Yuri on Ice has changed completely.
For Yuuri to receive a score of 106 in his short programme is absolutely mental. Before I knew about skating I thought a score of above 100 was ‘good’ and anything below was ‘average’. It’s not. For reference:
Skate America this year - Vincent Zhou, who placed first in the short programme scored an overall score of 97, which is astoundingly high in itself. Shoma Uno, renowned for his high PCS scored 44.78, where Yuuri scored 47.
The world record for the SP is 111.82 by Yuzuru Hanyu. This is followed by Nathan Chen who scored 110.38. Shoma Uno has the 3rd highest SP score (104.15). What’s interesting to note is that all these records were set POST 2018…meaning Yuuri would’ve surpassed the then world record by a good 10 points.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jn_U8hjbFoM - This skate is the HIGHEST scored SP in the world currently… with the exact same elements as Yuuri (3A, 4S, 4T+3T and 3 spins with a level 4 step sequence). In fact, Yuuri’s base score is probably HIGHER as all his jumps were in the second half of the programme, unlike Hanyu’s (because jumping on tired legs is harder)
I think we as the audience are so swayed by Yuuri’s negative portrayal of himself that we fail to realise just how much of an amazing skater he is (hello, unreliable narrator alert). Katsuki Yuuri is LITERALLY the best of the best, and the more I watch this series the more I realise just how talented our boy is
does anyone know pieces for one percussion and one piano? ahh it would be great if anyone could tell me some :)
There you have the leader of the pack 😉
Reminds a bit of this ⬇️
To me, the craziest thing about this panel isn't the extremely charged handshake, nor the intense eye contact, but rather the perspective.
Furudate is really good at toying with perspective to convey the story's motifs and themes. Here, thanks to the perspective, it looks like the net is above Hinata and Kageyama, when in fact it isn't that tall. In fact, I know it's right between them. But with the way this panel was drawn, it looks like they're facing each other with an unobstructed view.
The imagery here is clear: it doesn't matter that they're on opposite sides of the net now, there's nothing keeping them apart anymore. They stand on even ground, on equal footing, face to face.

Let’s acknowledge how good they both look in this scene. They served major looks at the dance👏🏼
notice how in that part in carrying the banner where the nuns give the newsies the cups jack doesn’t take one. he helps the nuns pass them out because he cares more about the newsies then himself. he’s stole for those boys and he would do it again.
and in the scene when they’re in the deli after the world will know, jack goes to grab a glass of water but les grabs it first so he lets les take it.
currently just thinking about how selfless jack kelly is. god i love him.
