what do you like about yuu? i think i started liking them after the octavinelle arc where they got KICKED OUT of their ONLY semblance of a home because they were being punished for some stupid mistake their friends made. nothing against adeuce grim or octavinelle anymore but man. i wouldve been PISSED.

EVERYTHING. but I think what really resonates for me is that yuu's experience in twisted wonderland is just what being disabled is like for me. I don't have to imagine what it's like being in a place where everyone possesses abilities that I don't. that's just what it's like!!!

like, yuu relies on the goodwill of everyone around them just to live. they're being abused and extorted by the adults in their life and they literally can't do anything about it because they rely on them. they have no autonomy. they're smart but they struggle in school because they can't do what everyone else can. they're constantly infantilized, considered innocent or dumb or naive. they're made fun of for not understanding things that "should be obvious" and bullied for being different. for being weak. they have feelings of helplessness and are arguably pretty depressed because of that

like I know it's just that they're from another world, but I still see them as autistic (among other things) because they resonate with me so much. this game is such a comfort for me because of yuu, despite their obvious differences, their obvious disadvantages, is still accepted by their peers, is still able to make friends, is still considered smart and cunning and strong and interesting. that's just so good

there's so much to love about yuu but yeah. I've been with them from the start. if they were written in any other way I probably wouldn't have liked the game as much

I think it's so funny how Natsu Hyuuga has pressed so many times how "Kusuriya is not a love story. Romance is not the focus. Also fuck Jinshi" then write up the greatest slow burn ever known to man. Not only that, she's literally made Jinshi, the very character she's known to VOCALLY DESPISE, to be one of the most fleshed out characters in the entire 15 volumes of the light novel

Genuine question, could someone recommend me novels with main characters full of vitriol and unhinged? Like the moment they make eye contact with someone, it is a bloody fistfight and biting? REACTIONS: A Thoughtful Gift

A/N: I'll derogate from the idea for Deuce's gift

He accepts it with a teasing smile

He can't help but tease. It's his love language!

But then he opens the clumsily gift wrapped box and sees a Deck of Handmade Cards. They're not perfect, the lines a lil wonky, but it showed how much effort you gave for the gift.

He thanks you. Sincerely this time. What? Ace can be mature sometimes. He knows how to read a room! Don't give him the surprise look!

He uses the cards to practice his magic tricks, but is also very careful with them. He doesn't want one to get lost after all. He's gonna ask one of his upperclassmen to teach him a preservation spell so the card's painting won't wore off and it'll be safe from wear-and-tear.

He almost shed some tears

It was perfect! How thoughtful of you to gift him a pair of sports sweats headband!And then he turns the gift to the other side and its embroidered with his name! Its clumsy but its so obviously made by you, you even embroidered a lil spade on the end of his name.

He hugs you in a tight bro-hug! He promises he definitely wear during his Track and Field training!

And he does and he brags about it to everyone who asks (or don't ask) about his new headband.

Grim is boasting about his NRC Uniform!

You have sewn it perfectly to fit him! He's so happy and he's even jumping in glee, you cheering along while you captured his reaction on camera.

It was quite a feat to get his measurements while he was sleeping to keep the surprise a secret, but it was all worth it!

Grim will strut around NRC full of pride wearing his uniform. Even the professors don't scold him as harshly when he's so loud but what's more cute than a cat direbeast in uniform?

Ace:*eats then swallows*Sure, but you owe me. *picks up water*

currently thinking a LOT about LQG x SQH… specifically because of that one post someone made about SQH being a good wrestler…. LQG annoying SQH enough or maybe just catching SQH when he doesn’t have his PiDW equivalent of coffee and has been up for days for some rush orders, demanding a fight, SQH says FINE. NO SWORDS THOUGH. and lqg is like?? and then is manhandled to the ground so fast. and is like. solidly unable to get up for a sec.

i imagine SQH has built up a lot of strength and it’s the kind thats built from like. working. not working out exactly. moving shit around the peaks all the time as a disciple and then also he’s aware of how dangerous it is for him being a traitor and all that… he’s bulky, but it’s hidden away hehe.. sleeper build…

ANYWAY I JUST. WANT TO SEE LQG PINNED TO THE GROUND. UNDER SQH. MAYBE IN AN ARM BAR OR BETWIXT THE LEGS. DO YOU FEEL ME.

Grim headcanon

He tied up the bow himself because he saw that people put bows on pets and plushies they liked. He thought that maybe if he had a bow, soemone would find him cute and help him. Eventually he realized people saw him as nuisance and a monster no matter what he did, so he stopped trying to get help.

He still kept the bow on, to comfort himself by pretending that someone did love him.

He likes it when the prefect puts bows on him, it comforts that younger Grim, its a reminder that hes loved like he always wanted.
