Is it just me or does anyone else ever think about how lonely Grim would’ve been if he didn’t decide to break into NRC, or how different it’d be for him if Yuu never attended NRC?

Or does anyone else think about how he would react if Yuu left?

Like as far as we know, Yuu is probably the closest thing to a family he’s had as he was abandoned since he was a kitten. Not much is known besides the fact that he said he “woke from the darkness all alone”. Yuu is the closest thing he has to a friend or even a family member at that.

Now I’m not a writing account but…

Imagine how he’d react if Yuu leaves, clinging onto Yuu and asking if they’re at least gonna come back and if he’ll ever see them again. I think it’d be even more heartbreaking for him if Yuu left while he would be asleep.

He’d be absolutely lonely without Yuu, having no one. Well, no one as close as Yuu was to him. Even if he has the others such as Ace and Deuce or the dorm ghosts to chat with, it’s not the same for him without Yuu. No one to bribe him with tuna, no one to carry him around NRC, no one to tell him “good morning”. Imagine Grim trying to introduce himself and out of habit he says “and this is my henchhuman—“ before stopping himself, remembering Yuu isn’t there anymore.

What if he starts wondering how Yuu is in their world?

What if he starts to fear that Yuu forgot them?

What if he’s scared of forgetting Yuu?

Just a thought I had.

Hello, this is a callout and warning of @//maxiepdmoore-art.

Me and alongside a couple of my TWST friends have been DMd by this user asking to draw our Yuu presumably for his own fetish, specifically people in swimsuits. Even after having been called out for his behavior, he has still kept going with the same spiel. He opened every conversation with the same message and same questions, all of the creator's OCs that he has asked to draw have been youthful and female presenting, one even a minor. Even when we ourselves told him what our OCs would wear to the beach he still tries to push us for the more revealing options he shared, when we have told him multiple times their preference and even given him pictures of what they would wear. none of us have actually received a drawing from him yet, but this behavior is still not acceptable.

If we’re being honest, most of us study our favourite character less like an entomologist studies a bug and more like an astronomer studies a distant star: drawing complicated inferences from extremely limited data, then getting tetchy about it when somebody else draws incompatible but equally well-supported inferences from the same data because it’s the fucking principle of the thing.

Synopsis: The ways Grim is a little sweetie and shows he cares <3

Grim who, despite complaining, always helps with chores.

Grim who eyes you as he scarfs down his food just to make sure you're eating too.

Grim who defends his 'hench-human' when people talk bad about them, even when his paws are shaking.

Grim who wakes up in the middle of the night to see you still not in bed and grumpily drags you there.

Grim who cries when you get sent to the infirmary after an overblot and sits by your side till you wake up.

Grim who crawls into your arms at night when he notices you having a nightmare.

Grim who sits on your shoulders like a scarf when it's cold saying 'it's to warm himself,' but his flaming ears are positioned right next to your chilled nose and cheeks.

Grim who glares at anyone looking at you funny or that he gets bad vibes from.

Grim who stares menacingly at your guest when you leave the room before grilling them to see if they're worthy of being friends with his hench-human. (They're already friends with not only the prefect but grim? Doesn't matter.)

Grim who bursts into the infirmary nearly inconsolable when you get sick. He leaves your side to go to classes when he's reminded of your enrollment situation. He doesn't care too awfully much about his attendance, but yours?

Grim who, once finding out about your birthday, tells the ghosts and with their help gathers all your friends for a surprise party.

Grim who makes crayon drawings of the two of you and the ghosts.

Grim who sees you as his only family.

Grim who is and forever will be always by your side.

Grim. Our dearest little pal who's always on our side.

We'll be there on yours too bud. Forever and always.
