Sacrificing herself like it's second nature and doing twice the work, she's the whole damn team
it's kind of crazy climate change has occurred at such a remarkable pace that I and everyone else around my age can remember a completely different climate in our childhoods. I truly watched winter gradually disappear in my life.
Shot in the Dark, 1943 Tom Lovell
The really fleshy direction for Pinhead was in play really early, but I wanted to poke around all the possible ideas to make sure we had eyes on all of them before everything was settled. It's worth noting that this was before the part was cast, so there wasn't an opportunity to consider Jamie Clayton's face or body type.
I'm hoping it comes through in these paintings, I was trying to make Pinhead as sexy as possible while also being as gross as possible. Working to integrate deeply opposing traits is always so much fun and why I find this character so compelling.
I explored some classic cenobites along with some new ones. Lots of ground to cover when you explore the rim of sensation.
I hope you enjoyed getting to see something new from me :) This is my first-ever film credit but maybe not my last. I'd love to explore some more worlds in my spare time.
Unfortunately I find his character sad and funny which means I will draw him, bastard that he is. also pathetic
