Hope obliges with a whisper, and Trick nods in response, passing you the card.
"Interesting... here, I'd say that's more than worth this one! don't worry I'll be a lot more tight lipped with the last bit. Actually..."
She snaps her fingers again and the face of the card glows for a moment.
"The card has seven uses now, for being a good sport, n' also cause I like you."
"Oh! right, almost forgot, is there anything else you'd be interested in?"
🔆Awh~!!! You like me~!! That's so sweet~! But I'd also like to... Learn a certain magic. The ability to create... Doorways. To any location... In any space. I need this ability for a future plan.....🔆
"Oh! well that's easy enough to waitaminute-"
Trick pauses a moment, and just stares at you, tapping against the table.
"You phrased that veeery specifically... Hope... A-are you trying to get into Appri's dark room?"
"Because trying to break into a room is easy, trying to break into a room full of eldritch magic that tries to entrap those that enter and has specifically been warded away by the Mun of that entire universe... is less so."
(@appri-dot ) These vents are weirdly large, enough for you to move comfortably. The trail of disturbed dust continues for a pretty long distance. Its like a maze in here, if you weren't following Raspberry it'd probably be real easy to get lost.
From the glimpses you can catch from a bunch of the vent grates you pass, the metal hallways and rooms are really, really extensive, this place must be massive! There's tech and beds and all sorts of weird things that you can see briefly, but eventually, you reach another vent whose cover has been popped off.
Inside this room is a really large monitor lit up blue, and a complex computer setup, clearly highly sophisticated if you're judging by the number of wires hooked into it.
With a hand on it's keyboard, there's a metallic shell, kinda like an endoskeleton that's just… frozen in that position like it had been powered off.
The trail ends here, so where was Raspberry?
How much do you know oh wise anon?
"Pfft, I wouldn't say I'm wise, just experienced." Trick sighed, "but I do know a whole lot, mostly about random things nobody cares about."
Though she won't say it, she's flattered.
Edits complete, format changed, colour and image settings altered, and the description no longer has a terrible title. Hopefully you enjoy the new space!
(@appri-dot ) It’s kinda hard to tell, the blue one immediately tries to block it’s face with their hands like they were expecting your tail to shoot something. Oh look, they have paw beans!
“P-put that down! I-I didn’t even do anything!” The creature stammers, reasonably terrified since you’re partially a war machine.
This small blue thing might be your best way to figure out what was going on, but you could also just look around or maybe even run off somewhere, it doesn’t look like anything’s stopping you right now, so you’re free to go about how you please!
(@appri-dot ) You poke the endoskeleton! It... collapses across the ground with a loud clatter like a suit of armour. I’m not entirely sure what you were expecting since nothing was holding it up and it’s just a bit of metal. I’m pretty sure if it was alive it would’ve stopped itself from hitting the floor, so at least you learned one thing from that.
And also yeah the shelf in front of the door is loaded with servers, so you’re probably not propping that back upright, looks like it’s been pushed over in front. If you want to drag the hunk of metal through the vents again I won’t stop you, but it does actually seem to just be a bit of metal.
You get the most peculiar sensation, like you’re missing something important.
The one live server’s activity light is flickering wildly now, which is kinda distracting, but it won’t dissuade you from doing anything. Are you sure you want to leave this area?
Oh, thank you! *I take the the creamy coffee with the glitter and take a sip of it*
Trick simply nods and gives a smile in response, then turns back to her deal.
(@appri-dot ) You're just making them even more confused, but at least raspberry's not all spooked anymore. They just squint back at you.
And just…. keep squinting, determined.
I think they've challenged you to a staring contest or something like that?
What wasn't supposed to be there?
<We may be incorrect, but we do not recall having a facility named "Project S">
<Ugh. Why do I know that name?>
<This is most irregular>
A mischievous anon that tends to poke into places it probably shouldn't. Creator / bestower of Trick!Cards, and fully interactable!
