He/Him but not in the way I’m a man but in the way people assume every dog is a boy
the world is a better place because it has transmascs in it
to whoever needs to hear this: transvestite and transsexual are not slurs. "outdated" queer terms are not inherently slurs. these are literally historically the first 2 terms created and used to talk about the trans community, both coined the first doctor to perform successful trans sex reassignment surgeries, who spent the rest of his career pioneering and paving the way for the modern surgeries we perform today. his name was Magnus Hirschfeld, he was a jewish doctor who began a lifetime of fighting for queer rights due to being moved by the struggles his queer patients went through in terms of not being allowed to accept themselves during the Nazi regime at the time. these are perfectly fine terms that have grown to develop their own distinct meanings and communities over time. this man spent his life fighting for trans and jewish rights during Nazi occupation. any queer term can be used as a slur in the wrong hands. thank you
I've seen some people say that Nana's (Kawaii-Chan) name was originally Kaori Miyasaki. Is this true? I can't find a source.
i have been trying for like. months to explain how the relationship between butch lesbians and trans men is not something akin to polar opposites and this is all i got. like it's not like this:
it's a venn diagram with a massive overlap in the middle. i'm not saying EVERY butch is a trans guy and EVERY trans guy is a butch dyke , i'm just saying it looks more like this:
these are not "mutually exclusive" terms- they do not mean the same thing, but we can be the same people, an very often are. there is a long history of butches who identify as FTM, trans men, drag kings, genderqueer, genderfluid, transmasculine, male, polygender, and two-spirit lesbians, and so much more. the relationship between lesbianism and queer masculinity is inseparable and the only people telling you that butches and trans men need to violently separate from one another and be at each other's throats are terfs. even if we do not share identities, we share our struggle together as heavily misunderstood and unseen masculine queers.
we stand up for each other when our identities get confused by strangers, and we get misgendered. we stand up for each other when terfs and terfpilled people tell us that transmasculine people and men can't be lesbians, when people say "butches just want to be men", when people say "butches aren't real women", when people call each of us bull dykes and trannies, when people mock the way FTMs walk and talk and look, and when people tell trans men they're "just butch dykes in denial". we stand up for each other and understand each others struggles.
whenever a butch lesbian asserts they're a woman no matter how masc they are, whenever a trans man asserts that they are a man and not a butch, whenever a butch struggles to be seen as both a man and a lesbian, and whenever a trans man returns to the lesbian community while embracing their manhood, we are part of the same community, we share the same struggles, and we owe it to each other to stay strong.
we are not enemies. we are bedfellows, lovers, family, spouses, partners, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, siblings, friends, each others support networks, even if we don't share identities perfectly. whether you are butch and a woman, butch and a man, butch and something else entirely, a male, ftm, genderfluid, polygender, genderqueer, transmasculine, nonbinary, two-spirit or whatever else you may be lesbian, you are part of our family and your experience is worth being heard.
Trans and genderqueer joy forever
This Ace supports Trans Rights. Reblog if you do!
Some of you need to learn that there are bigger issues then indis with complex identities that you don't understand.
"But they say they're achillean and use she/her pronouns !!" Good for her, there's bigger issues. "But they're a lesboy !!" That's cool, there are bigger issues. "But they use mew/mewself pronouns irl with no 'normal' pronouns !!" So glad mew found pronouns that suit mew, there's worse things in the world. "They identify as the literal concept of time !!" That's so swagful, indis are dying. "They identify as transmasc and transfem !!" They're probably intersex, plus, there's bigger issues. "But- !" It. Doesn't. Matter. There are individs who are suffering and you'd rather argue about the validity of a stranger's identity and gatekeep labels. Focus your energy on things that actually matter instead of the validity of complex identities.
I think it's so weird that Jess keeps portraying Aaron, who is the end game love interest as Aphmaus father. Like in those videos, "Adopted by blank family". It's just kinda gross. I don't get it. She couldn't use Zane? A character who is constantly portrayed as being overprotective to Aphmau? Or like idk Noi? Because like he's one of the few characters that aren't obsessed with Aphmau? Idk.
It's been a while since I've been on here, so here's my rambling and headcanons Ein and Zack's relationship.
So I was reading Zack's wiki, and there was this stream by Sylvanna's VA saying (among other things) that:
"Zack did not cheat on Sylvanna, Ein was not his biological son and he only helped raise him."
And that sorta stuck out to me because we don't actually know anything about Ein's home life or family.
Basically, my headcanon is that Zack was fostering Ein.
On Ein's wiki, it says that he claims
"Ein was born a monster, and then Zack abandoned him at some point in his life." (Cited as Season 6 Episode 10)
Maybe Ein was Zack's foster son before the fallout with Garte and Derek. Maybe the abandonment in question was Zack being sent to Micheal's realm?
Just imagine Ein in this situation. He's lost/been left by/been taken away from his parents, and he's been thrown into the system. Absolutely traumatic for someone so young (considering he's younger than Aph and Sylvanna and Zack split when she was little).
Maybe he's at a different foster home first. Maybe he's in a group home. Eventually, though, Ein ends up with this doctor. Zack is nice to Ein (read: manipulative).
Maybe he convinces Ein to 'help' them with the forever potions.
Maybe Ein lives at the lodge.
Then Zack just.....disappears.
Ein gets thrown back into the system. He goes to an all Werewolf school (where he probably picked up on the werewolf supremacy shit). He goes to PDH. He goes to juvie for attacking Kacey.
Then who shows up again? Who gets him out of juvie? Either Zack, Micheal, or Elizabeth.
Cue the rest of Mystreet.
Idk just my thoughts it's been floating around in my head for a while.
