oops you didn't get the concept? anyways. imagine stefan giving baby annie a bath bc y/n is out w care bc she needs help. And baby annie is a mischievous little rat and stefan can't give a bath lol. so annie splashes water all over him and makes things hard for him and then they play along in the water, the bath being long forgotten lol. and then y/n comes home and sees the mess and is like 😡😐 and stefan is like "sorry🥺😭" and annie is like "mama idk why you mad 😁" and then she splashes water all over y/n lol and then its all cute fluff- 🍓

ok yes so this is kinda the first time youre leaving stefan at home alone for more a few hours (bc annie is like kinda a newborn so youve mostly been home w her) you’re like “stefan! i gotta go! you all good?”

and stefan comes in to the foyer carrying annie and is like “yep! you have fun with care”

and you smile and you look between annie and stefan, frowning. “maybe i should stay...?”

and stefan’s like “NO. youve been cooped up in this house for too long. go and see care and be somewhere else for once!”

and youre like “😩 ok fineeee” then you give annie a kiss and stefan one, and stefan and annie wave goodbye at you.

after you leave stefan turns to annie and is like “alright are you hungry? lets get you some food”

and the two hang out for a while and its time to change annie’s diaper, so stefan decides it’d be good to give annie a bath. so he places her in the little tub, like not in an actual tub. there are like baby tubs where you can put inside the actual adult tub to wash a child lol. ANYWAYS

and stefan’s like “okay, the water might be a little warm, so if you dont like it just say so” and he’s speaking as if she can understand 🥺 and so he sets her down in the bathtub and she’s perfectly fine. so stefan then gets a few toys like rubber duckies and some barbie mermaids and he grabs the soap and says “alright, lets get this party started.”

and as he is trying to lather annie up w soap she starts to splash the water, a little bit ending up on stefan’s shirt. and stefan’s like

“a-a-ah, no annie. we sit still when we take baths.”

but annie’s like 🌝 “no 👺” and she starts to make bigger splashes in the water. and she can see how annoyed stefan is getting and she just is giggling bc its all fun and games lol.

“annie! youre getting all my clothes wet!” stefan groans

and annie just giggles and splashes the water and is like “dada!”

and stefan cant help but melt. annie has got him wrapped her finger haha. and so he takes off his shirt and socks, filling up a cup he was going to use to rinse her off and dipping his fingers into it, then flicking the water at her. she giggles and starts to like, smash her hands in the water lmao. and stefan adds bubble bath soap so now the tub is all filled with suds, and so is he hehe. and annie and him go back and forth with splashing water.

“you gotta splash yeah?”

and annie like flicks the water on his face with the barbie mermaid tail. and stefan acts all shocked and fake mad and is like

“omg annie! that was so rude! imma get you back!” and he take a little bit of water, flicking it at her gently.

and the little smile she makes just makes his heart swell up. he loves seeing his little girl happy. even if it means it makes his other girl - you - mad. and speaking of you, you come home finally, tired snd ready to snuggle with you husband and child.

you call out there name, not seeing them downstairs. you then hear the sound of water and laughing and you go upstairs to see who is causing all the ruckus and when you step into the bathroom, your socks get a little wet. and you gaso as you see a bunch of water and soap suds on the floor and youre like

“seriously! stefan! you were supposed to give her a bath, not make a mess,” you groaned

and stefan’s like “omg im so sorry baby. we were just having fun was all. ill clean it up i promise”

while annie literally had a shit-eating grin on her face 💀

you walk towards them and go on your knees, sighing and smiling at him. you love seeing annie and him bond, and that was def more important than the mess they made.

and stefan then says “plus she started it” and points to annie.

and you gasp like “whaaaat? annie! thats not very nice!” and annie just giggles and then splashing water on you

and so you take some water and splash it at her. and stefan joins in, splashing you w water. and you get him back and its just a cute, salvatore family moment <3

Don’t be out alone at night.

Be vigilant at all times.

And never accept any free drink that wasn’t sealed.

Those were three rules (out of many) to survive life as a woman. Three rules your parents, authorities, and society in general had told you over and over again until it was engraved in your brain.

And yet you forgot to put the words into action.

To be fair, you had had a very stressful couple of weeks beforehand, having to wake up extra early every morning to get ready for an awful day surrounded by people you didn’t like telling you how to do your job.

So, in the midst of all that havoc you found a little routine that made life just a tiny bit more bearable.

Every Monday and every Friday at precisely 9:00pm you’d stop by that club everyone you knew kept talking about, you’d order an Old Fashioned and look closely as it was being made while talking about nothing with that cute bartender whose shift you apparently always seemed to catch.

Those talks usually consisted on nothing of real importance, making fun of people who seemed to be way too drunk, creating interesting stories about strangers the other picked, and what you had considered harmless flirting.

It was anything but harmless.

This Friday had been way too chaotic to put much mind on anything else, you had gone with your usual routine until it seemingly out of nowhere became too much. You couldn’t even glance at your coworkers without feeling the urge to yell at every single one of them.

Your boss was no exception, and when that jerk started yelling at you instead for arriving a minute late after lunch you just couldn’t take it anymore, wouldn’t take it anymore. Honestly, if you tried recalling that moment you’d most likely see something similar to an out of body experience.

The way you almost weren’t in control when your arm threw your water at your boss, and then how your lips moved almost out of your control telling him where he could stick his stupid minute. And then a silent ride to the club in which you were now drinking your usual.

Eddie listened to your every word as you recounted your day, his eyebrows going up and down as your story progressed, every time more and more engrossed in the sound of your voice, his whole body leaning ever so slightly in your direction from the other side of the counter.

As you finished he had drummed his fingers against the polished wood and smiled “You know what this means, right?” He had the widest smile.

His excitement made you laugh

“What?” You asked fully leaning in the counter

He turned around and kept moving around under your curious glance, blocking your view of whatever he was doing, dodging your every question with soft laughter and a couple “you just wait”

And then he placed a green drink in front of you.

It looked and smelt pretty good, you realized. It even had a slice of fruit decorating it, you rose a brow at him.

“It’s a special Appletini, on the house” he explained “A congratulations on starting your new life” he added with a strange smile, one you mistakenly thought nothing of as you began downing the liquid.

It almost tasted like apple, there was something else in there though, something that made everything bitter-y but since you’d never had one before you just figured that was how it was supposed to be.

A couple seconds later you began feeling dizzy, it must’ve been a strong drink, stronger than anything you were used to, you tried to look at Eddie and ask for water, but your head was just too heavy, and so was the rest of your body, it made you stumble out of the stool you had been sitting on.

“You okay?” His question only dimly registered in your brain, but you managed to shake your head regardless.

He wasted on time on getting to your side, his hands taking a hold of both your arms as he directed you outside “I’m taking you home” was all he’d say, and you tried to reply, you really did try to tell him that you’d never told him where you lived, he must’ve been confusing you with someone else.

You can’t remember much more afterwards, only waking up with a pounding head and Eddie offering you water. You tried to scream but your body was too weak to do anything but drink water and stay in bed for the next couple of days, he didn’t even bother tying you up knowing how it would take you a while to take full autonomy of your body.

The second you heard his car taking off you’d try to move some and some more, at first your body had been too heavy, then too weak or clumsy, but sooner than he had expected you were able to move, still putting on a facade of a slow healing in front of him.

And then, one night after he’d left you got up as fast as you could and bolted to the door, which of course was locked, then you looked at a couple of windows until you found one whose lock was so old and worn out even you in your weakened state could break.

You jumped before taking a good measured look outside and began trying to run, but he had been heading back, unfortunately for you he had forgotten his wallet, and he caught you exactly like a deer on the headlights.

Your legs were much too weak to run faster than him, and in no time he had you back in the house that looked even weaker than you.

He wasn’t yelling though, not even raising his voice, but he had you wrapped so tightly in his arms it was hurting you as you tried to squirm away. Something you had noticed about him is that he rarely got mad at you, not being able to talk the last couple of days he had gone on and on about the beautiful life the two of you would share.

Making comments about whether or not he wanted children and deciding it would be up to you, but you only wanted to yell at his face and maybe spit in his direction and then run the other way.

But now he was silent, he’d never been this silent before, he let you loose momentarily as he turned around to lock the door and you tried to hit him square in the chest, I say try because it ended up being more of a slap than anything, but it took his attention back to you regardless, his eyes clouded and his breath going in and out in puffs.

The sight made you shiver and your instincts forced you to run the other way, but he grabbed your arm and twisted it in a very painful angle behind you as he forced you to walk to the bedroom he had had you imprisoned in.

“You are not leaving me” he said only once, twisting it even further with every poisoned word.

You were crying out of an ungodly combination of fear and pain “You’re hurting me!” You cried

He spun you around and forced your back against the wall getting close inside your personal space “You hurt me first” he declared with his whole face going red “pulling out of nowhere that running away shit! What the hell were you thinking! Fuck!” Every word he said made him angrier “After everything I’ve done for you?”

“You kidnapped me!” He slapped you as soon as the words left your mouth, and then he forced you to face him with a steel grip on your chin.

“I saved you!” Was his only reply “And you are never leaving me”

You were trying to run as fast as you could. But Stefan was faster. He was like a leopard, silently prying on his prey until finally attacking it and tearing it apart. He watched you run and took his time enjoying in how helpless and breathless you looked.

They always taste better when they are scared.

Finally, his hunger beat him and he sped in front of you, veins beneath his eyes and fangs growing out of gums.

A horrified scream left your mouth as he finally sunk his teeth into your neck, ripping out your jugular and sucked out all the blood in your body.

“Stefan it’s me! Wake up!” your voice rang through his ears and he woke up with a gasp. His forehead was drenched with sweat and it seemed as if the colour had been drained from his face.

“I- I killed you, I didn’t mean to, but I did,” he breathed heavily. His chest was heaving up and down and he was still in shock. Tears were pooling in his eyes and he felt his throat burn. He could’ve swore that he never wanted to cry harder in his life.

He thought he had lost you. And you promised that you would never leave. He saw himself tear that promise part as he sunk his teeth into you.

“Stefan, look at me. I’m here. I’m here, and I’m never going away,” you whispered, cupping his cheeks as few tears rolled down his eyes.

“It felt real Y/N!” he sobbed into your arms as you held him closely.

“I thought I had lost you,” h continued sobbing as you stroked his back, attempting to calm him down. “You are never going to lose me Stefan,” you assured him and kissed his head as he nodded and buried his face in your chest.

“It’s over Stefan,” you told him as his breathing patterns returned to normal and his eyelids started growing heavy.

“I’ll bring you some water,” you said, trying to release yourself from his arms. He shook his head rapidly, and held you even more close.

“Don’t leave me,” he mumbled and you nodded silently as he moved towards your lap, and placed his head on it, finding comfort in those actions.

You smiled at him, hands going in his hair and scalp, tracing small patterns on them. “It’s okay Stefan,” you muttered as he let out a sigh of relief.

“I love you Y/N,” he muttered before finally falling asleep.

He knew that you were here. You were never leaving him alone. He was never going to lose you.
