OK FIRST OFF: EDRIC

I’ve always thought that Edric was sort of pushed off to the side a little and Emira took most of the uh spotlight ig? Like sure they both showed up at the same time but I think she tends to have more lines or like she picks on him directly making him seem sorta ‘weaker’ ?? I love the foreshadowing with some things though like the beast keeping hobby.

In the episode Adventures in the Elements, Edric said he wanted to keep that bat thing as a pet and in the end I guess they did let him keep it as a pet! Its the same one he has with him throughout the episode. I’m not sure if they ever alluded to the potions thing tho but I’m glad they had a bit of a closure with his “mistake” in the end. Eda telling him that the serum he made actually is super cool and she’d be able to sell it helps console him.

Then we return to the normal dynamic when Eda throws the shirt at him and Emira butts in front and interrupts his sentence. It’s sorta like showing his whole… uh thing with Emira or whatever isn’t going to change nor will it solve his “not being taken seriously” thing but helping Eda has still helped with his confidence too.

toh spoilers toffee should shut up sorry im uh this is my first time writing something so big for my own thoughts never really wrote my own character analysis before but maybe i’ll try and do them more?? edric emira also I still love emira so much and its actually cool how they have nerdier or likejust normal teenager things like edric’s design especially i love how it much of a nerd it makes him look shit that sorta makes me think of hunter and how hes a nerd but i dont even ship them emira looks sorta feral with her hair but it suits her ngl especially with how she jumps in at the end LOL i love the twins so much I really was wondering before how they were going to include them more and i was kinda scared even that the show - -might cast them aside but I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH THEY GIVE PROPER TREATMENT TO ITS CHARACTERSSSS tho im still waiting on more gus and matholomule content but i like how hes acknowledged in that first ep oops sudden rant in the tags what am i even saying here also ignore my vocabulary and grammar and structuring its all god awful
