Oh wait, i’m stupid, i forgot that the raids have you pick an extra character due to the boss’s type changing that was probably made to make the bosses not too much of an easy slog.

Great Rant that perfectly describes why Chapter 5 isn’t as good as V3 Defenders claim it is
Okay so I’m super late seeing as the game released two years ago but after the disaster that was the DR3 anime, it took a while for me to build up the motivation to play DRV3. I just finished it recently. And what do I think of it?
It was… not as bad as the anime. Actually, it’s not bad at all. Far from it.
But there were still so many nonsensical and dumb decisions made. Just like in DR3. I know for most people, it was chapter 6 and the ending that broke the game and made it horrible for them. But those didn’t particularly bug me. It was actually chapter 5.
(Warning: spoilers for the entire DRV3 game below cut)
(Warning: here’s to be to the return of my salty Hajime rants)

Y'all talkin bout the Zootopia Pro Life comic but missing this masterpiece
Well, strangely enough, only on the Free Encyclopedia Wikipedia, does it source the writers for the Danganronpa 3 to be not Kodaka, but Norimitsu Kaihō, which makes it more embarrassingly stupid when it also sources that he doesn’t know anything about the Source Material, and you could probably call Kodaka very Egotistical on this part too, because he really thinks that this conclusion is genuinely a Masterpiece, well at least, it’s sort of better than DRV3.
So, I finally sucked it up and watched the DR3 anime and... wow was it a chore to sit through 😅 The writing felt a bit off for most of the returning characters, most of the new characters introduced were unlikable or undeveloped, there were quite a few inconsistencies to the games, the uncomfortable and blatant fanservice, and I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or anything... but I found it pretty boring overall.
i wish more writers + fandom analysists understood that a character can totally work through their guilt and own up to their mistakes without there having to be some justification for what they did. like sometimes you just genuinely fuck up with no excuse, and the best you can do then is acknowledge it, apologize to those you hurt, and just move on with your life while trying to prevent the same mistake from happening again
it doesn’t always have to be like “you couldn’t help it” or “i understand where you were coming from”, it doesn’t always have to be acceptable!! they don’t always have to be forgiven!! because making a mistake like that doesn’t mean there’s no hope for them in the future, especially if they feel bad about it. just!! let characters use their own mistakes as motivation to better themselves without relying on forgiveness!
I know this is five to six years late but, one is planned accordingly with how Kojima did it, while Kodaka kept advertising Kaede as the main character only to fridge her at the first chapter.
