i like working at plant store. sometimes you ring up someone and there's a slug on their plant and so you're like "Oh haha you've got a friend there let me get that for you" and you put the slug on your hand for safekeeping but then its really busy and you dont have time to take the slug outside before the next customer in line so you just have a slug chilling on your hand for 15 minutes. really makes you feel at peace with nature. also it means sometimes i get to say my favorite line which is "would you like this free slug with your purchase"

I still believe that one of the prettiest love stories has to be the love story of the god Eros with Psyche, while the story of Appollo with Daphne is a beautiful yet heart wrenching tragedy in a way that it had love and disgust.. (one sided love). What's really magnificent about mythologies in general is that they make us see the world differently. unpopular opinion i think that bunny was the most.. morally correct one of them and he's nearly normal unlike them

Tsh fandom has many many faults but by far the most irritating is when they decide to nitpick which actions are justifiable or even non-existant and which are disproportionately vile and irredeemable just so they can place some characters (francis, camilla) on a higher moral plane than others (bunny, charles) like they weren't all equally awful people and the point wasnt that they were all batshit crazy

afterall, feeling understood is the greatest form of love.

It's crazy when you start talking with someone and... youre comfy wit them from the start? And they're literally you so youre never bored when talking with them and dont feel bad when youre yapping all the time. (Two yappers and over sharer lol)

Trip to Rome

I believe it's my third time reading The Secret History and every time I YEARN for the Rome trip. I wanna read about them going around sightseeing and Bunny complaining and I want 5 pages long descriptions of their hotel room and the street.
