OK UPDATE BEFORE MIDNIGHT BECAUSE I FORGOT TO DO IT EARLIER SHIT

⇨ I started to work on chapter one, but it’s still going VERY slowly. Like a-word-a-day slowly

⇨ slight plot adjustments again, but still generally the same

Other than that, not much. Ive still had little no progress in terms of actual writing because nothing comes to me when I sit down in front of a blank page. Also I’m working so much I don’t have time.

First update of the new year! And I actually have a bit of progress!

I’m in the process on deciding on a huge but slight change in the plot/character subplot, still deciding. But other than that, I actually did write a few hundred words of the first chapter! Which is a very good start. I need someone to harass me into keeping this one though, so I don’t chicken out and change this later. PLEASE (I’ll probably just get my boyfriendddd~~ to do it)

It’s slow progress this week but it’s progress, which is more than I can say for the past few weeks.

No update this week because I’ve had no progress. :(

@ fanfic authors: don’t apologise for writing filler chapters! i see this all the time!! filler chapters are so important to narrative pacing! a story needs downtime so the faster paced or denser elements have room to breathe! you’re writing a well balanced story!!! also, you’re giving me that filler for free! thats crazy!!! thats so kind of you!!! thank you for this gift!!!!!!

you don't have to include their real actual names and you don't have to have main characters with every single one of these things. But neurodivergent and mentally ill people should EXIST in fantasy stories and fantasy societies, because we exist in real life. We deserve to be acknowledged.

The Weekly Writing Update #6

This past week has been and this next week will be spent outlining the plot down to each chapter. Up till now, it’s been a bunch of ideas all vaguely spread out between beginning, middle, and end. But it’s caused a lot of chaos and I’ve changed and rewritten the plot many times, so a chapter-by-chapter layout of the plot will do me MUCH good :)

The past week, I got the chart set up and started a little bit. But this next week I plan to work on it way more and hopefully complete it!
