Loop is Trying to Take a Nap, Stardust!

This drawing is actually from today! I just decided I wanted to draw Loop sleeping on a high branch of the Favor Tree. This was my first time drawing them, too! I think they turned out good.

I tried to draw the weird shadow patterns that trees leaf underneath them (ha!). Though, I don't think I was able to capture that.

Also, this drawing made me have to draw Siffrin in perspective (from a bird's eye view, to be specific). I think it looks good! Perspective is definitely one of the things I have to practice drawing.

Originally, I was thinking that Loop was having nightmares. But now, it just looks like Siffrin is bothering Loop and not letting them sleep. Siffrin, you have a House to get through! Leave them alone!

Siffrin With Completely Black Hair

I don't have much to say about this drawing. I really enjoyed drawing the hair in this one, though. It has so many fun shapes! I drew him with his left eye bandaged because I wanted him to still be healing from losing his eye. For some reason, I kept imagining this was Siffrin as a tired college student who has just met Isabeau (off-screen). That's why he looks tired in this. Now that I'm thinking about it, him being tired could make sense game-wise. Suffering from losing an eye would be quite exhausting. (Small spoiler for an intersection between Siffrin and Isabeau↓)

Now I'm imagining they're looking up at Isabeau who is about to give them the eye patch he made for them. Anyhow, this was just fun for me to draw. I think Siffrin looks really nice in this drawing.

Small thing that breaks my heart:

When I was in third grade, I told this boy that it would be my birthday in four days, and he said, “okay, then I’ll buy you flowers.” Four days later he comes up to me and says, “my mom wouldn’t let me get flowers but I found you this violet in the grass.” That in and of itself was iconic and so so sweet, but it gets better.

A month later, I had to move, and because it was third grade, the teacher made everyone write me letters to say goodbye. His said, “I hope you have so much fun in your new house that you forget about me. I hope that you’re always happy and you never miss us. I’m sorry I never gave you flowers, but I can give you some now.” And he fucking. Drew me flowers.

No, Joey, I never forgot you. You are the reason I have standards in this life, and I’m so grateful to have known you. I hope you’re happy, wherever you are, and I hope that the rest of your days are filled with as much joy as you gave to me. I spilled water on the card about five years ago, and half of it is a a jumbled mess now, but I still have it. It’s the only card I still have.

The funny thing is this dude and I hardly ever interacted. I knew he played football because he was on the town’s kids’ team and my brother was on the middle school team, and I knew he was one of, like, three Joeys in our year. I had a crush on him but obviously never communicated that because it was fucking third grade, but somehow those three interactions imprinted on who I am as a person. I am forever changed by Joey from third grade.

Sundrop Design I Made

This is just a design I made for Sun from Five Nights At Freddy's: Security Breach. I couldn't draw the strips on Sun's pants quite right, so I instead made a sun pattern for the pants (though it kind of looks like a flower pattern). Anyhow, if you took the time to read this, thank you. I'm an amatuer artist who still hasn't figured out their outstyle and is trying out different things. I probably won't post often, but when I do, it's probably going to be some fanart. Currently, I'm into Five Nights At Freddy's, so my art might be Fnaf related. So I’ve noticed that in this fandom it’s common to include Deaf/ASL-using-characters into stories, which is honestly AMAZING and makes me SO HAPPY TO SEE, but many of us aren’t deaf we rely on resources, therefore:

My ASL teacher gave us this website cause it’s updates constantly (ASL evolves lots) and it’s a lot more accurate and reliable than just google :))

To work it- type the word, and a word bank will pull up, click on the term u want and a video/description of the sign and word will appear!!!

It’s rlly simple and has most words and if it doesn’t it’s bc it’s finger spelled probs!!!!

If u want more in-depth good grammar, search up “five parameters ASL”, “glossing in ASL” and watch a few videos to see “how sentence structure differs in ASL”

As always, remember it’s ok to make mistakes/notice a mistake, just be mindful and kind :D most of us aren’t out for malice and if someone is it’ll probs be very obv 😭

Two Versions of a Drawing of Siffrin I Did:

Here's the finished product, but I also like the drawing without the effect over it.

So here's this version. I think I like this drawing (both versions) more than my previous Sif drawing. This one has a more unique pose and expression. (My idea was that Siffrin was jumping and about to attack.) I also put more work towards the background. It took me quite a while to draw the clocks. The numbers look a bit cramped, but I do not have the patience to fix that. I used stars as the clock handles to represent that time isn't truly passing. I think I put more work/creativity into this drawing, so I proud of myself for that. I want to add more abstract ideas/concepts in my drawings, so I think this is a good starting point.

Unlike my previous drawing, I drew Frin's cloak correctly. Did I draw the dagger correctly this time? Ha! Nooo. Of course not. Anyhow, I still haven't finished the game, so I'm trying to avoid spoilers. I might be on Tumbler less, in other words.

Okay, I don't have much to say about this drawing. Usually, I like to talk about my process and critique my art, but I didn't really experiment with this one. Though, I did force myself to work on anatomy, so that's good. Also, I'm realizing that past me didn't really know how Siffrin's hair works. Honestly, the white part of his hair is probably shorter than his black hair. The white parts might also be longer at the sides. I still don't know, to be honest.

By the way, the date on the drawing is wrong. It was finished in March, not February. I made this drawing on the same day I made the blended version of this drawing of Siffrin (which is in my previous post). I'm tired, but I'm going to post like three more drawing of Siffrin, so bare with me.

Venezuela, a country that once extended support to immigrants and provided aid to others, is now dismissed as insignificant by many.

If you are an advocate who values the dignity and needs of individuals, we urge you to raise your voice alongside us. Don't ignore us because we are Latinos, this is also a war. It is a conflict against an individual who has controlled his armed forces, law enforcement, narcotics syndicates, and citizens, rendering any attempts at reform futile despite our vocal protests. I have family members who are unable to depart through legal means, and if they choose to leave unlawfully, they face harsh judgment from people of the outside.
