"tragic" backstories

who would have thought drawing the key moments of a OC's life when they have a "tragic" backstory would mean you gotta draw the traumatic moments, like i didn't have to make it this bad for them. but no had to be scaring and nightmare inducing for them to build "character" writing it out is one thing (done that a bunch of times ) but having to sit and draw it just hits so much harder for me. but no i had to make a OC who's life got better after dying and becoming a vamp cos no happy well adjusted person likes to be a undead monster apparently

okay i got carried away with my warm up sketch. been doing so much "Pretty body horror" lately i wanted to do some more gore type body horror,

so fun fact Sabrina my kinda subbie soft loving monster girl Tzimisce can only be killed by fire and sunlight, she kinda works on Hellsing Vampire rules now with 5 dots in vicissitude working in conjunction with some merits and combo disciplines she has, shes the groups tank through and through been working on a fair bit of art for her but its all been mostly nsfw so its kinda bluesky exclusive

so i was working on a establishing panel for my VTM comic and was feeling like hell yeah ive done well with this (its a paint over so not patting myself on the back to hard) and then i remembered its meant to be in the 90s and i used a modern google street image as my reference and had to change a bunch of stuff. still needs some clean up but the second one is the 90s version.

Medusa has become quite a polarizing figure, and perhaps of all figures in mythology demonstrates how we reuse and interpret myths to make sense of our experiences and the world around us. 

Personally, I subscribe to earlier Greek interpretations of Medusa, where she’s a monstrous goddess born with the curious condition of mortality and not subject to the lust of Poseidon or the wrath of Athene. For my design I referenced the motif of the running gorgon, common on pottery in the mid-sixth century BCE depicting a rather broad and muscular looking figure in a short tunic. Funnily enough, I was also inspired by the tusks and physicality of half-orcs from DnD for her overall body type. I liked the idea of arranging her hair in an Aphrodite knot to give it some interest, and instead of wings I gave her some feathers on her arms to streamline her overall look (I find wings on upright quadrupeds to be a bit clunky).

i thought of doing this just as art prompt, but why the hell not just do it for "real" so im a yautja png streamer now over at twitch/blakescosplay ive only done some test streams atm and i didn't have the animated png last stream but i will for the next one

also i do apologize for my voice its been damaged by years of to much testosterone :P (im trans fem and really... really need to voice train ) (and yes my yautja is canonically trans now :P ) also i am thinking of making a pngtuber for most of my OC's and cosplays

okay so i finally have a name for my main yautja oc and felt like at least sketching her out again Outis as in Nobody in Ancient Greek as the clan inherit there names she will eventually take the name Athena after the clan elder and Outis's mother "Minerva" pass , or she proves herself worthy of it (at that point the elder will take the name Atrytone or one of Athena's other names ) a xeno queen or yautja xeno are a sure bet to earn one of the divine names but other more exotic hunts are a option. also more typical yautja names are used in the clan but the direct descendants use this naming tradition
