Last Thursday night, I attended the opening of Anne-Sophie Gigan’s exhibition ‘Dublin Dancers and Dreams’ at In_spire Galerie. I was most intrigued by her combination of dancing and photography and enjoyed all three dance performances. The venue was packed with a lovely atmosphere. Anne-Sophie’s exhibition will run until 23rd March 2019 at 56 Lower Gardener Street, Dublin 1.

Just back from the opening of Sinéad Ní Mhaonaigh's exhibition 'Dwelling' at the Kevin Kavanagh Gallery, Chancery Lane, Dub 8. Most of Sinéad's paintings were the same shape and size which gave consistency to her exhibition. My favourite painting was the large yellow one called 'Dweling' because it was cheerful. The venue was busy, the atmosphere lively. Sinéad's exhibition will run until 2nd Mar 2024.

Just practising again. I hope to get better at Tumblr. Sandra.
Finally got around to practice blogging on Tumblr before going to my computer course tonight. I meant to do this before hand but time just flies. Classy for the moment.

I attended the opening of Margaret Corcoran's exhibition 'Goddesses and Icons' at the Kevin kavanagh Gallery, Chancery Lane, Dublin 8. The Venue was packed and the atmosphere was relaxed. There was lots of lovely portraits mainly painted in watercolors. My favorite paintings were 'Blossoming', 'Artemis' and 'Athena'. 'Blossoming' featured a statue standing in a cornucopia of blossoms done in oil on linen. 'Artemus' and 'Athena' were portraits created with water-based oil on canvas. Margaret's exhibition will run until the 20th May 2023.

Last night, I attended the opening of Michael Canning’s exhibition ‘Your Cyclical Natures Sculpture Painting Drawing’ at the Oliver Sears Gallery, 29 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2. I thought the sculptures on show really complimented the paintings. The atmosphere at the opening was relaxed. I met Michael. He was lovely. Michael’s exhibition will continue until 18th October. Classy.
I also had a quick look at the statue of Luke Kelly by John Coll erected on South King Street. Lovely pose and detail.
